[Ryuge Misaki Cosplay] Blue Archive, Relaxation and Vitality in Gym Class

Slipping into this white gym shirt with navy blue trim, changing into sports shorts with white side stripes, and pairing them with white over-the-knee socks and blue-and-white sneakers, I stood in front of the locker room mirror—this basic look for a campus sports style was finally complete.

The location for this shoot was intentionally chosen in a setting with an authentic school atmosphere. The dark green blackboard, lockers, as well as the wooden vaulting box and the metal ball cage filled with balls in the gymnasium, all perfectly fitted the theme of the gymnastics uniform cosplay. In terms of lighting, thanks to the soft indoor ambient light, the overall frame looked very bright without needing excessive modification. During the post-processing stage, PixCake was used to fine-tune the skin tone and the facial light and shadow transitions, especially focusing on handling the highlight clipping of the white top under bright light, preserving the detailed texture of the clothing fabric while making the skin look finer and more translucent.

In terms of posing and motion guidance, to find that unique relaxation found only during sports class breaks, I tried many natural movements. For example, sitting directly on a desk with hands on my hips, or resting my legs on a nearby chair while leaning back with crossed arms, all trying to stretch out my body as much as possible. I prepared a vividly contrasted volleyball as a prop; when holding it in my hands, my entire center of gravity leaned slightly forward, creating a dynamic feel of being ready to catch the ball at any moment. As for the hairstyle, the short blue hair with two bun tails and bow decorations on the sides was repeatedly secured before the shoot to ensure that the floating halo and fluffy animal ears on top of my head stayed at the correct angles even during large bends or sitting posture changes.

A form-fitting item with a relatively short hem like a gymnastics uniform requires careful adjustments of sitting postures during the actual shoot to avoid excessive wrinkles that affect the visual aesthetics. Several scene compositions attempted this time, such as using the wire mesh in front of the ball cage as a foreground or pulling up my legs to hug the ball on the wooden vaulting box, allowed the photos to present a sense of ease during sports intervals and the unique refinement of an anime character. With a clean and refreshing white-and-blue color palette as the main thread, the entire photo set forms a complete narrative against the backdrop of the campus and gymnasium.
