[Huohuo cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail, Ghost-Hunting Girl in a Maid Outfit

This Huohuo maid outfit merges moe and fantasy elements, adding many detailed maid designs while maintaining the original character traits. The top is a white sleeveless halter style, adorned with a striking red bow and an exquisite golden bell on the chest; the bell's sound is crisp, adding a lot when moving. The sleeves are independent detached lantern sleeves, made of a blue-green fabric with a slight shimmer texture, tightened at the cuffs with dark blue ribbons, and sewn with golden piping on the edges, making the pairing look both gorgeous and not overly cumbersome.

The skirt hem of the lower body is very richly layered, with the top layer being a blue and white vertical striped short skirt, spliced with white cloud-shaped lace ruffles on the edge, playful and cute. A dark blue wide belt is tied around the waist, and the small wooden badge hanging on the belt is one of the core accessories expressing the character's attributes. Of course, the most eye-catching part of the entire look has to be that huge fluffy tail behind me, which is very considerable in volume, with蓬松 and soft fur, and the blue-green mixed color fur adds a strong visual highlight to the picture. Because the volume and weight of the tail were much larger than imagined, a lot of thought went into maintaining balance during shooting, sometimes even requiring slightly supporting it with a hand or leaning against a chair support behind me, but the final completeness presented is still very satisfying.

In terms of makeup and hair, a mint green wig was used. To fit the character's feeling, the bangs were trimmed with a light airy feel, the sideburns on both sides were lengthened, and blue ribbons were used to make embellishments on both sides of the head and at the ends of the hair, echoing the color palette of the clothing. The eye makeup part focused on strengthening the lengthening of the upper eyeliner and the brightening of the aegyosal, paired with clear and bright light-colored colored contacts, making the eyes look more nimble and spirited, and the entire face shape also appears soft and exquisite under the lens capture. The lip makeup selected a natural peach color, maintaining the lightweight and transparent feel of the overall look.

The shooting environment selected a semi-outdoor teahouse with a traditional wooden structure. Bamboo chairs and mottled dark wooden tables provided rich texture and quality to the picture, paired with a tea tray and a small blue and white porcelain tea bowl, creating a quaint and quiet life atmosphere. The warm-toned light slanting in after midday reflected the fluffy tail and the folds of the skirt hem with distinct layers, and also biased the tone of the overall picture towards soft warm colors, eliminating the sweetness that the maid outfit might have originally brought. In terms of posing, the photographer specially guided me to design several states: the natural feeling of slightly lowered eyes when resting while holding tea, the interaction of eyes with the lens when leaning over and supporting on the table, and the playful state when sitting upright and lightly touching the collar, striving to present the character's small thoughts of quiet and dynamic in a static picture. Especially during the shooting process, a few sparrows landed on a pillar not far away, making the atmosphere at that time fit the基调 of this set of photos even better. Although the prop was not small and required repeatedly adjusting angles when shooting, in post-processing, I tried to preserve the light and shadow texture of the original photo as much as possible, only doing slight color micro-adjustments, and finally seeing the finished photo, being able to fully restore the character really gives a sense of accomplishment.
