The theme of this shoot is Shiroko Sunaookami Cosplay from Blue Archive. The preparation started with the wig: I chose a cool-toned silver-gray color. To make the blue hair streak on top look more natural, instead of using pre-dyed sections, I wefted in separate tracks for adjustment. The bangs were trimmed with textured, wispy ends so they wouldn't block the focal point of my eyes while preserving the character's crisp, refreshing look. For makeup, I emphasized eyeshadow to shape the character's gaze, using cool-toned shimmery eyeshadow to create a clean, translucent feel. The eyebrows were drawn softly, paired with highlighter to add dimension to my facial features. The eyeliner was slightly extended to enhance the expressive charm of the eyes.

The Animal ear accessories and the halo are the true soul of this look. Fixing the halo was a tricky challenge because it needs to float above the head; to avoid visible support wires in the shots, I used ultra-fine skeleton materials anchored firmly to the wig cap. The blue halo was crafted using 3D-printed materials combined with light strips, preserving a seamless ring silhouette even when not illuminated. For the Animal ear accessories, I picked a pair with distinct 3D shaping and realistic fur texture. They were lightweight and stayed securely clipped on without wobbling or causing headaches during the long shoot.

The outfit styling is centered on a school uniform aesthetic. The white short-sleeved T-shirt features her iconic blue trims along the collar and cuffs, made of breathable fabric so it didn't feel stuffy in the classroom. The dark blue jacket was tied casually around my waist; this relaxed wear perfectly captured the laid-back vibe after school. For the White thigh-highs, I specifically chose a pair with slight compression, which prevented wrinkles when worn and visually slimmed the legs. Paired with classic black canvas shoes, the subtle gap above the ankle created a crisp, clean aesthetic. In the classroom photography session, the combo of White thigh-highs and black shoes naturally evoked a sporty school meet feeling.

We selected an old classroom as our classroom photography location. The wooden desks, chairs, and green chalkboard fit the lore well, and the lighting was ample. Because the space was slightly confined, the photographer alternated between wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The wide-angle captured more of the classroom environment, while the telephoto brought out rich facial shading and depth. For the first shot sitting on the desk chair, I shifted my center of gravity to keep the crossed-leg silhouette natural, highlighting both the lightness of the uniform and the continuity of the halo. The second composition sitting on the floor incorporated a yellow-and-blue volleyball and stacked books, recreating the everyday life of an after-school club room. We adjusted the placement of the ball and books a few times to keep them looking candid yet harmonious with the subject. In the third shot holding a whiteboard, the board was actually blank; although we debated drawing something, leaving it blank better accentuated the facial expression, creating a luminous transparency against the natural window backlight. The fourth shot shows me sitting on the desk hugging my knees with a lowered head—a quiet pose with a slight head tilt that portrayed her tranquil, cool demeanor.

During post-processing, we avoided excessive skin smoothing or liquefying, focusing on maintaining a bright, clean color palette that emphasized the crisp blue-and-white tones while preserving natural skin texture for an authentic lifestyle touch. For Shiroko, I wanted to convey the cool aloofness of a wolf-eared girl, so I deliberately avoided overly cute poses and maintained a calm, tranquil expression. In the volleyball photo, I established an emotional connection with the camera through eye contact, capturing several candid frames before selecting the floor-sitting shot. Looking back, this look was truly a perfect match for classroom photography. Although the prop halo fell off multiple times during the shoot, securing it firmly with hairpins and glue fixed the issue, making these little behind-the-scenes hiccups a fun part of the memory. The final photos captured both the character's unique essence and a sense of realism, fully achieving my vision.
