This set of live Convention photos was taken at a convention a few days ago. The Prinzessin der Verurteilung outfit, with its black and purple color scheme combined with blonde twin-tails, delivers a powerful visual impact. The lighting environment at the venue was quite chaotic on the day of the shoot, but the lighting strategy prepared in advance came in handy.

Regarding the costume, the black lace and mesh panelling across the chest serve as excellent visual layering against large dark color blocks. The purple bow at the collar with gold star ornaments, along with the asymmetrical sleeve design at the shoulders, were key highlights I looked for when selecting this outfit. Beyond the main garments, the lace leg straps and metal pendant details on the thighs add a touch of splendor to the overall look, which paired with light purple pantyhose creates a unique texture transition under warm white indoor light.

Holding the weapon prop was quite heavy in hand; maintaining tension and single-handed stability during shooting was a test when finding dynamic poses. The wig was thinned out several times, requiring real effort to maintain this fluffy, airy height—especially given the heavy foot traffic at the venue, keeping the style intact was no small challenge. Particularly when direct side light sources were messy, hair shine on the wig would easily break immersion, so I applied matte spray beforehand to treat highlight areas and barely achieved the intended matte visual effect.

For camera performance, this time I focused on slightly low perspective angles—not only dodging cluttered crowds and booth frames in the background, but also capturing the character's haughty, aristocratic aura looking down on all beings. As for Cosplay makeup, because it was paired with blue-teal contact lenses, the eye makeup specifically deepened blue-purple smudging, combining sharp outer-corner lines to better replicate Her Highness's unique heterochromia effect. Glitters in the eyeshadow were chosen in iridescent materials to better adapt to overhead lighting in indoor halls. Eyeliner was the core focus of this Cosplay makeup: drawing an extended, slightly flicked cat-eye effect while keeping lines clean and smudge-free was a strict requirement for a long convention day.

Light sources at convention venues are quite scattered; insufficient fill light easily darkens the face. During shooting, I asked the photographer to pay extra attention to fill lighting in backlit areas so the overall skin tone in final photos appears translucent rather than muddy. The layered hem of the dress and the lace thigh straps were also nicely highlighted from these angles. We selected several representative poses for final shots, including looking back over the shoulder, covering one eye with a hand, and leaning forward slightly—angles that showcased the costume's three-dimensional layering while conveying the character's proud yet playful charm.

I shared this photo set primarily because I was quite satisfied with the captured expressions in this outfit, hoping to accurately convey that chuunibyou yet confident feeling from the original work of Genshin Impact. I'm very grateful for the photographer's cooperation during the shoot, waiting out a few gaps with relatively clean backgrounds amid the crowded venue. If given the opportunity, shooting a natural light version outdoors in the future should add even more texture in Anime-style photography. That's all for this Fischl cosplay set's share!
