[Luo Tianyi cosplay] Luo Tianyi Pure Blue Fantasy Music: Concert and Anime Convention Record

The transition between the convention booth and the concert stage made this Luo Tianyi Pure Blue Fantasy Music photoshoot experience rather unique. Arriving at the venue in the morning, I first focused on hair and makeup. Since it was a long silver-grey wig, I needed to set the curves of the bangs and tips with hairspray in advance. The bow and halo ring headpiece also had to be firmly secured to the bun with bobby pins, otherwise they would easily shift after a few shots. The costume is a white lace dress layered with a light blue corset sash, featuring rich skirt layers; although it was easy to step on the hem while walking, wearing it was completely worthwhile to recreate the character's ethereal translucency. The paired White stockings and leg straps were tied quite snugly, but I adapted to them for optimal photo results.

Under the booth lighting at the convention, the harsh light required finding reflectors or shooting front-lit angles to avoid heavy facial shadows. For full-body shots, ensuring the skirt hem spread naturally and posing with crossed legs accentuated leg lines and improved body proportions. After taking photos near the large character standee, I strolled around other areas of the hall, meeting fellow fans who asked for photos together. I adjusted positions according to their angles and posed naturally for several shots. For the Convention photos, I picked a shot centered in the frame with a complete display of the skirt and legs as the cover, making the composition feel much more balanced.

Entering the concert in the evening, the live atmosphere was truly incredible. The lighting was predominantly blue and purple, washing over the stage with immense immersion. A massive screen on stage projected animations and handwritten white calligraphy. The moment handwritten text appeared on screen, the cheers from the crowd erupted. Live bands accompanied the music from both sides of the stage, and during specific segments, two chubby inflatable figures were suspended above, creating delightful visual effects alongside the lighting and streamers. Down in the audience, everyone waved blue glow sticks, and I waved along for quite a long time—a fully immersive experience.

Toward the finale, countless ribbons and streamers drifted down from the ceiling, and the big screen displayed text for the next stop as everyone raised their phones to capture the curtain call. Overall, this offline cosplay event combined with the concert experience—despite the fatigue of standing all day and the warmth of the outfit and wig—was well worth every penny thanks to the passionate cheering atmosphere and stage production. I took a few selfies to commemorate before taking off the makeup, then packed up props and costume, slowly walking out with the exiting crowd.
