I'm a student coser looking for photographers for long-term mutual-benefit collaborations. My primary goal is to expand into the local Guangzhou photography community, but photographers from other cities are also very welcome to connect online or collaborate down the line as part of my Coser daily life.
The main IPs I focus on are Wuthering Waves cosplay and Honor of Kings cosplay, having cosplayed numerous characters from both games. The in-game art design is breathtakingly exquisite, especially the costume, wig, and prop details; every outdoor shoot or studio session feels like being transported directly into the game world. Additionally, I really want to shoot anime couple duo themes; if any photographer is down for duo shoots, that would be ideal. Duo composition and chemistry are actually trickier to capture than solo shots, testing a photographer's directing skills, and I am more than happy to follow your directions to refine the visual composition.
I usually prefer studio shoots because light and backdrop can be controlled with precision. However, as a student with a limited allowance, I hope we can split studio fees 50/50, establishing this upfront to avoid awkwardness. Regarding photo return speed, I take this very seriously and expect the photographer to return raw or selected photos within three months. After all, a lot of energy goes into the shoot; if you feel unsatisfied with the image quality afterward and prefer not to deliver photos, that's completely fine—just reimburse my 50% share of the studio fee, which is an acceptable arrangement and reflects a responsible attitude toward one's work. If photo returns are prompt, my editing speed is equally fast; if the photographer prefers not to edit, just sending color-graded raws for me to handle post-processing myself works perfectly. My editing style is restrained, relying heavily on in-camera results with a preference for natural, breathable color tones—I dislike poreless, plastic skin smoothing, as retaining natural skin texture is paramount.
My production workflow is very structured: I plan my schedule and rent costumes well in advance. Unless an unavoidable emergency arises, I virtually never cancel a booking; if changes occur, I will give at least a week's notice to remain punctual and trustworthy. For beloved characters, I prepare pose references ahead of time and warmly welcome composition suggestions from the photographer so we can accurately replicate stances and reveal hidden facets of the character. Occasionally, I brainstorm small easter-egg poses based on lore, and I am always open to any unique creative ideas from the photographer.
Mutual respect is vital throughout our collaboration. If I arrive late, I will voluntarily take on the corresponding studio fee surcharge; similarly, if the photographer arrives late, I hope the same agreement applies. On my end, final edited photos can be delivered within a month—or even a few days if workflow permits. Regarding exposure limits, I have strict boundaries and will decline overly suggestive poses. Furthermore, when shooting barefoot characters, please avoid filling half the frame with feet; I personally favor close-ups and half-body shots. Full-body shots are fine, but the character subject must remain the compositional core without being overwhelmed by props or background elements. Guangzhou actually offers many fantastic studio setups and outdoor locations—I have scouted quite a few and can provide recommendations if you're unsure where to choose. In past shoots, insufficient communication led to prolonged delays in photo delivery, which is why I explicitly state delivery timelines here to give both parties peace of mind.
For photo selection, I hope the photographer can share raw previews so we can select images together, though if you have favorites you'd like to pick directly, that works too. If there are shots I love that you don't feel like editing, simply send them over for me to handle.
