This shoot was completed inside a studio featuring a pure pink backdrop. The outfit is remarkably rich in detail: a white-and-purple bodysuit paired with glossy shorts, plus those White long boots adorned with purple cross-stars and ribbon bows—just getting fully suited up took quite a bit of time. The ornate staff held in my hands was easily the most eye-catching prop in the room: a gilded shaft, purple accents, and a crest bearing a crescent moon and a pink orb made it carry substantial weight in hand. To harmonize with the overall look, I wore a pink-and-white gradient wig topped with white winged hair ornaments and golden gemstones, while blue cosmetic contacts were specifically chosen to add translucent clarity to my gaze.

Collaborating with photographer 秋迟 went smoothly. We took full advantage of the studio's white cylindrical plinths and wooden round stools. When standing, I tried reaching one arm upward or holding the staff with both hands to ensure the silhouette of the weapon and the contours of the outfit were fully revealed. Shifting onto the wooden stool, crossing my legs or lifting one leg accentuated the thigh curves and the intricate accents on the tall boots. To capture diverse perspectives, we dialed in the lighting adjustments: combining the pink backdrop with bright key lights yielded a cohesive overall color palette. During standing poses, keeping my back straight while tuning arm angles showcased the front golden ornaments and waist cutouts without letting the prop obstruct the chest detailing.

As someone who regularly shoots both outdoors and in studios, I pay close attention to prop maintenance and wearing comfort. Costumes adorned with extensive gilded hardware and sheer ribbons require extra care during movement to avoid snagging or crushing components. The translucent tulle and purple draping fabric trailing behind the costume created an airy, floating grace when walking or turning. For seated setups, although the wooden stool lacked a backrest, it actually allowed my shoulders to relax more naturally. I tested several sitting angles, such as resting one leg over the other or leaning the staff diagonally against my shoulder, which simultaneously highlighted leg contours while creating a balanced visual composition between the staff and wing ornaments.

The staff prop features intricate details—gilded rings, pink hearts, and white roses woven together—requiring continual angle adjustments so lighting would catch the metallic fittings and cast radiant reflections. Simultaneously, mindful framing of the white long boots was necessary to ensure the purple stars and bows showed cleanly from both front and side profiles. The entire shoot was a demanding physical test; holding the staff aloft while staying completely still left my arms quite sore, yet seeing the finished garment textures and vibrant colors made every bit of fatigue feel worthwhile. Furthermore, the fabrics carried a unique sheen under the lights, particularly the glossy purple panels which demanded precise angles to radiate that high-end finish. After half a day of shooting, despite some exhaustion, the final visual outcome delivered an immense sense of accomplishment.
