First, let's talk about the costume details. The upper body features an off-the-shoulder design that beautifully showcases the lines of the neck and shoulders, presenting a great bone structure when paired with the light and shadow during outdoor or indoor shoots. A glossy pink fabric is extensively used as the primary tone, with a golden heart-shaped metal badge on the chest serving as the visual center. Two white ribbons extend from the neckline, adding layers and an ethereal touch. Both arms are paired with large, semi-transparent sheer sleeves. This light veil material is incredibly weightless, so even a slight hand movement or turn creates a dynamic drape and puffiness, perfectly matching the character's magnificent aesthetic. The lower body features a voluminous pleated ruffled skirt with a white and light pink gradient.

The most challenging part was definitely styling the wig. To recreate the iconic red twin-bun style, the hair fibers required a lot of backcombing before wearing to increase thickness and overall volume, otherwise the top of the head would look flat in photos. I secured the tiny gold crown on top with multiple bobby pins to ensure it wouldn't shift no matter how I turned my head during the shoot. The curve of the bangs was trimmed after multiple comparisons to sit exactly at eyebrow length. Paired with a few strands of long hair intentionally left on both sides of the face, it maintains the wig's natural flow while beautifully framing the face, making it look more refined and delicate.

For the makeup, to match the character's lively and cute personality, I used a lot of pink and peach tones for the eyeshadow and blush. The eyeliner was slightly winged upward, combined with eye-enlarging makeup techniques to deepen the gaze and add tension to the bright expressions. Paired with the white star-shaped earring on the left ear and a narrow, semi-transparent frosted choker around the neck, these tiny accessories visually added many intricate highlights to the sweet look.

During the shoot, props played a crucial role. The magic wand in my hand was the core accessory of the entire styling. Its handle is a smooth, white baked-enamel material with wing-shaped handguards, topped with a giant, glossy, translucent pink heart-shaped gemstone that has a small white heart in the middle. When posing, whether holding the wand diagonally over my shoulder or bringing it close to my cheek, it blended seamlessly into the composition without looking out of place.

The shooting venue that day was an indoor space filled with warm golden lighting, featuring a background with European classical architectural contours. The photographer used a wide-aperture lens to deeply blur the walls and stone pillars behind us. This warm golden tone, combined with the bokeh effect, created a highly dreamlike and focused atmosphere for the image. The light hit the pink outfit and red wig, producing beautiful luster and natural reflections.

During the shoot, I chose a single-eye wink expression paired with a natural, slightly raised hand gesture. A wink is a perfect expression to showcase the character's energetic vibe, which, together with the slightly upturned corners of my lips and the freeze-frame pose, gave this set of photos great expressiveness. For this outfit, from the fabric selection and tailoring to the accuracy of the props, I wanted to present the best possible quality. Although it always takes a lot of energy to manage and style such bright-colored, complex wigs and outfits, seeing the final snapshots and the warm, sweet atmosphere conveyed makes all the preparation feel completely worth it.
