This set of Phrolova photos was actually edited a long time ago, but because I've been frantically working overtime lately and just want to collapse on the bed every time I get home from work, this set of pictures sat in my computer hard drive for quite a long time, and I finally dug them out to organize and send today. Let's talk about the overall presentation of this styling. The design of this outfit really tests the pattern and details, and the upper-body effect is even better than I initially expected. The main body is a white off-the-shoulder long dress with a high collar and black strap decorations at the neckline, and the cutout design at the shoulders perfectly showcases the shoulder and neck lines. The sleeves are wide bell sleeves, and the cascading ruffles and fine pleats have a particularly rich sense of layering when walking or moving. Because the skirt hem is quite large, to avoid looking heavy when shooting full-body photos, I specially chose a pair of black platform Mary Janes for the shoes, which not only visually elongated the leg proportions but also made long-term indoor standing shooting relatively stable. The black leather gloves on my hands are the finishing touch; the cutouts and straps on the gloves echo the black elements at the neckline and chest, and the black-and-white contrast is very eye-catching in front of the lens. The wig part features mint-green straight bangs, plus a very thick braid hanging down in front of the chest. To weave this braid well, I spent a lot of time styling it before the shoot, and to make it look natural and not stiff, I deliberately interspersed black ribbons and bows into the braid. In terms of makeup, pink contact lenses and red lips were highlighted, and the eye makeup also had some red blending, hoping to bring out a cold yet fragile vibe. During the shooting process, the Violin prop gave a lot of room for play. Whether holding the instrument with both hands, holding the bow, or simulating a playing posture, it can make body movements more extensible, avoiding the awkwardness of not knowing how to pose. The scene was in an indoor area of a shopping mall and architectural corridor; the large-area glass railings, gray floor tiles, and arranged spotlights on the top provided great lighting and shadow conditions on-site. Taking advantage of the site's natural light and ceiling lights, different depths of field were tried during shooting, from a half-body close-up looking back, to a posture sitting on the ground with the large skirt spread out, and then to full-body candid shots with the skirt flying while walking, the photographer captured many dynamic moments. Combining the theme of "quietly awaiting the afterlife for the unfulfilled regrets of this life," I restrained my expression control a bit, avoiding overly large smiles, and instead maintained a calm, slightly detached, and contemplative state. This set of photos was released during the cpg08 convention; the crowd flow at the site that day was quite large, but the indoor lighting was overall quite good, coupled with the flowing material of the outfit itself, the photo yield rate was quite high. Although the process of editing photos while working overtime was extremely painful, looking at this tranquil sense of atmosphere in the final photos, I still feel that all the previous hustle was worth it.
