[Lynae Cosplay] Wuthering Waves Summer Swimsuit, Energetic Moments in the White Studio

This refreshing summer swimsuit outfit has finally been sorted out and posted; today let's chat about this Lynae cosplay experience.

The main character Lynae's look has a strong summer athletic style. The top is a white off-the-shoulder short-sleeved T-shirt with a highly refreshing light blue heart pattern on the chest, and the hem of the shirt was intentionally knotted to expose the waist and abdomen, paired with these denim shorts featuring teal adjustable drawstrings, appearing visually lightweight.

Subtle accessories were not left behind either—wearing a white choker on the neck and a starfish-shaped pendant necklace makes for a strong beach vacation vibe. The white garter ring on the thigh and the pink scrunchie on the wrist make the overall layers richer.

The golden twin-tails wig is adorned with a large white flower, styled into a half-tied messy bun look. Everyone has probably noticed too that the hair ends feature a slight light green gradient highlight, displaying subtle luster changes through the lens to make the hair texture more authentic. In terms of makeup, to match the character's energetic vibe, I intentionally elongated the eyeliner for the eye makeup, paired with bright coral eyeshadow, and chose a light pink for the lips that matches the top's color palette, directly maxing out the lively atmosphere of summer sunshine.

The shooting venue was chosen as a pure white studio, which is also one of my favorite ways to produce photos. Many times, a clean white background can better highlight the costume colors and makeup/hair details, free from the distraction of a complex background, allowing people to focus on each small accessory on the character at a glance. To add a touch of cute elements and make the frame less monotonous, I placed a blue cat-shaped acrylic standee next to the white cylindrical display platform as an embellishment.

Standing on the platform while striking peace signs and hands-on-hips poses, exerting full-body strength to maintain a natural stance while also bringing out a relaxed and playful atmosphere is actually quite a test of control. The shoes were paired with wedge-heeled woven hemp rope thick-soled sandals, visually elongating the leg proportions while harmonizing beautifully with the white studio photography color tone.

During the shoot, I was constantly communicating with the photographer regarding lighting and angles. White studio photography demands high light control capability from the photographer, but I am highly satisfied with these final pictures. The white background can maximize the authentic restoration of the T-shirt print, the washed texture of the denim, and the color saturation of the wig without any stray light, making the entire person look exceptionally clean and translucent.

This photo set is also an attempt at a refreshing summer-themed character look; the soft, fresh style under the white studio fits the character's personality perfectly. When everyone usually cosplays characters or takes outfit photos by themselves, you can also try this combination of a pure white studio plus small props more often, which frequently yields unexpected results. In the process of doing cosplay, the happiest thing is being able to recreate anime-style fashion looks in reality; even if it's just a tiny stud earring or a hair accessory, it brings an immense sense of accomplishment.
