[Furina Cosplay] Genshin Impact Ousia Version Look: Autumn/Winter Photoshoot Styling & Costume Detail Review

Slipping into this newly acquired Ousia Furina costume, my initial impression is that the overall texture is far more substantial than expected. The tailoring from Miaowu Cosplay fits the physique beautifully at the waist and shoulder lines, especially that large top hat—its metallic decorations combined with a heavy visual weight instantly bolster the character's majestic aura once worn. The patchwork of deep navy blue and vibrant bright blue is rich in layering, with highly intricate details spanning from the dark ruffled lace at the neckline to the iconic circular gemstone on the chest, down to the draped bright blue ribbons.

This look features asymmetrical black-and-white gloves. The black leather glove on the left hand hosts an incredibly exquisite gemstone ring, while the white glove on the right hand maintains a relative sense of purity; this color collision prevents the dark-toned suit jacket from looking monotonous. Furthermore, the fit at the fingertips is superb; whether making a finger-gun gesture or lifting my hand to showcase the jacket's hemline, there's zero tightness, which is highly conducive to performing freely in front of the lens.

The snap-button design of the jacket was a pleasant surprise for me. When wearing other long-style cosplay costumes in the past, lifting my arms would often separate the jacket from the vest or inner lining, causing the layering of the entire upper body to look cluttered. However, when lifting my arms in this jacket, the snaps keep the vest and jacket tightly anchored together, synchronizing beautifully with arm movements. Whether standing on one leg or performing wide spins, the silhouette of the entire outfit remains firmly held.

Embodying this Ousia version of Furina is truly fitting for the autumn and winter seasons. Compared to the Pneuma (white) version outfit I've done before, the fabric thickness of the Ousia version is visibly elevated; the substantial deep navy and indigo fabrics paired with gold thread embroidery bring forth a poised, elegant charm, and you don't have to worry about accidental exposure when executing intricate prop movements. Moreover, the length of the skirt hemline is incredibly well-controlled—not excessively cumbersome, it preserves the character's trailing tailcoat effect while ensuring seamless mobility when walking.

Let's talk about the hat too—the design is truly an absolute favorite. Though there are many metallic ornaments on the hat, the weight distribution is done remarkably well; wearing it on the head doesn't create a neck-crushing burden. The wig fibers consist of an easily stylable silver-white gradient blue wig, where that iconic strand of upturned cowlick can be freely bent and fixed. Coordinated with the hat brim, it perfectly covers a portion of the forehead, capturing the character's signature traits with stunning accuracy.

Taking a photo with Mademoiselle Crabaletta in hand this time truly gives the illusion of Furina herself hitting the streets. Since the Ousia version itself leans toward a slightly playful and confident style, matching it with this plush prop beautifully enriches the upper body composition. The teardrop-shaped gemstone and gold tassels on the thigh strap are also major highlights of the entire outfit; the strap design avoids cutting into the skin or creating an unsightly bulge, delivering a sleek and sharp effect when worn on the leg.

Fully dressed in this outfit and standing before the blue-and-white background light, it feels as though all the autumn and winter chill has been barred outside by this thick jacket. The footwear consists of glossy deep blue chunky heels that echo the primary color palette; paired with the bowknot and white ruffled socks, it renders the leg lines exceptionally smooth. This is precisely why I feel the Ousia version, following the Pneuma version, brings me a novel wearing experience—it isn't just changing a color, it's shifting to an entirely different inner temperament of the character.
