This cosplay photoshoot features Lin Yuxia from Arknights, shot on location across several old town streets and alleys. The black mandarin collar trench coat, paired with blue-purple cuffs and ribbons, low-heeled black leather boots, and black leggings, creates a very cool and sharp effect under natural light with its overall layering and texture. The black headband and fluffy animal ears on top are the crowning touch of the entire look, precisely capturing the character's visual features when combined with the light silver-pink straight hair.

Before the shoot, I actually spent quite a bit of time preparing the props, especially this long sword. The white scabbard combined with the guard featuring complex gold/metallic textures feels unexpectedly heavy in hand. When posing, it serves not only as an excellent visual center but also helps me quickly immerse myself into the shooting state. I wanted to express more than just the character's cool exterior; I hoped to recreate that calm, decisive, and no-nonsense personality.

The choice of shooting locations for this set was also very interesting. The photographer took me weaving through narrow old alleys and courtyards full of life. I particularly like the first photo where I lean against a concrete pillar; the high-contrast light and shadow cast by the sunlight on my body, combined with the arms-crossed pose, excellently conveys the character's confidence and aura. The subsequent photos also feature different attempts, such as sitting on a low wall letting the trench coat hem spread out, or half-kneeling to hide in a narrow alleyway—the composition of those shots fits the ambient atmosphere of the old town perfectly.

Additionally, the candid photo taken in front of the colored glass rack was quite a test of on-the-spot improvisation. The photographer framed the shot through the colored structure, adding a vibrant sense of color collision to the image. The straight-on standing pose in front of the brick wall and red door perfectly showcases the character's sleek body proportions. These outdoor shoots have given me a deeper understanding of the character; the exact moments when the wind blows my hair and ribbons, or when I grip the sword amid the intertwining sunlight and shadows, all allow me to feel a very realistic sense of character immersion.

As a cosplay project, the coordination of props, makeup, styling, and lighting is indispensable. Huge thanks to the photographer's patience for capturing so many images from different perspectives. The atmosphere of the entire set is controlled beautifully, preserving the city's lively ambiance while highlighting the character's coolness and charm. I am highly satisfied with the final photos of this photoshoot, which successfully recorded the unique temperament of this character and my personal interpretation style.
