This set of photos established a clear tone in the early stage of preparation, utilizing the neon of the urban night view and that iconic pink car as visual anchors, while the design of the halo and wings determined the direction of the post-processing color grading. To restore the character's unique traits, many considerations were made regarding the costume and props this time, as the black, red, and white color scheme can form a strong visual contrast in low-light environments.

For clothing, I chose a rather street-casual match—a black sleeveless high-neck undershirt paired with black shorts, along with opaque black tights and a pair of black thick-soled lace-up ankle boots, giving an overall crisp and energetic feeling. The black fingerless gloves and the silver square metal tag around the neck add a bit of structure and ornamentation to the overall look. The pure brass-colored ring on top of the head uses thin metal brackets for fixation, and the brackets are color-hidden, which both ensures the lightness of the frame and avoids the weight burden caused when wearing it. The pale yellow geometric wings are implemented through post-processing synthesis. To ensure the fusion of light and shadow, we specially recorded the ambient light parameters in the scene during the shoot, so that the highlights of the wings in post-processing could stay consistent with the direction of the background's rim light.

There are many unexpected color elements hidden in the night street environment. The glowing signage light strings of "FASHION STREET" and "MOULIN ROUGE" in the background provide a rich supplement of warm and cool light sources for the entire set of photos. That pink vintage Volkswagen car is the core prop in the entire shooting plan; its slightly aged-textured pink car paint echoes beautifully with the red hair styling. During the shoot, I tried different positions such as standing on the roof of the car, leaning in front of the car, and sitting on the hood, utilizing the pink car body as a large area of foreground, which not only breaks the darkness of the night but also allows the bright yellow wings to stand out in post-processing.

In terms of movement design, I tried my best to choose some relaxed and casual poses. In this set of photos, there are both playful moments crouching on the hood holding a small red plush toy, casual times holding a light blue backpack and standing on one leg, and full-view compositions standing in the middle of the road's white markings looking directly at the lens. These movements are not rigid stance replications but feel more like the character's state when going out to relax in this city street. The combination of black tights and thick-soled boots plays an excellent role in extending the leg lines. Combined with the angle of the fill light, the delicate luster reflected by the black fabric adds a lot of texture and layering to the overall night street photography frames.

For post-processing, the focus was placed on adjusting the texture of the skin tone and red hair styling. Night view environments easily make the skin tone look dark or greenish, requiring precise correction of facial highlights and shadows while maintaining the vividness of the red hair and the clarity of the hair strand textures. In terms of balancing warm and cool tones, I pressed the overall environment color to lean cool, highlighting the warm contrast of the red hair and yellow wings, while keeping enough details in the shadows of the black tights and black footwear without turning them into a solid black mass. The entire set of images did not undergo excessive airbrushing, preserving the authentic tactile feel of makeup and skin texture, which avoids looking overly 2D and detached from the atmosphere of the real environment.

Throughout the entire set of photos, from location scouting and makeup/styling to the final output, every adjustment step was made to find that casual yet energetic feeling unique to the character in this real street scene. Instead of intentionally chasing a strong dramatic plot atmosphere, it makes the image look like a casual night, capturing a routine outing belonging to her.
