For this shoot, I chose a white garden theme backdrop to convey the character's quiet and slightly detached aura. In terms of styling, black hair with dark red highlights served as the visual focal point. To achieve a more natural layering, the wig was shaped with inward-curving arcs, which paired with straight bangs to contour the face while fitting the character's lively yet non-aggressive traits. The feather-wing headpiece at the crown was custom handmade from lightweight composite materials; despite its size, it felt weightless during a full day of shooting, making posing effortless.
As for the outfit, the palette combining pure white with blue and gold accents placed high demands on fabric selection. Heavy white fabric would look stiff, so I opted for expansive lightweight chiffon spliced with pearlescent satin. The white straps on the arms and torso are the soul of this look, beautifully elongating body contours. During shooting, I intentionally adjusted my leaning posture over the white iron round table to expose my neck, shoulder lines, and the interwoven straps, showcasing a soft silhouette while retaining character mystery. The gold necklace had an antiqued finish so it wouldn't cast harsh reflections under bright lights, blending seamlessly into the soft, pure scene.
For set design, the hollow lattice patterns on the white metallic iron table matched the surrounding white gauze and vine flower stands perfectly. The photographer arranged very clear, diffuse soft lighting across the scene, rendering delicate skin textures while letting the dark red highlights in the black hair act as a finishing touch under high brightness. No intense eye contact was needed—lowering my gaze slightly brought out a natural, contemplative mood. I've always felt that although this character sits amidst bustling blooms, her aura remains independent and quiet. The ceiling drapery creating a pure White veil aesthetic paired with green plants formed a balanced cool-and-warm color contrast, preventing the predominant white from looking flat.
The overall makeup was kept quite subtle without heavy eyeshadow or saturated lip colors, focusing instead on elongated eyeliner and curled lashes—fitting for an Anime girl whose persona balances fantasy with reality. For hands, I placed them gently on the iron table in a relaxed, resting position, making it look as though I were daydreaming by the table. Compared to looks requiring powerful presence or intense dynamic action, sitting quietly and enjoying a peaceful corner in this Cosplay photography session was a rare and treasured experience.
Whenever preparing high-precision looks, matching hair, makeup, and costume takes the most energy, but this White veil aesthetic seamlessly smoothed over intricate construction seams. From test makeup to set building and pressing the shutter, teamwork ran smoothly to place every detail snugly within the frame. This recreation isn't about chasing 100% literal similarity, but rather extracting the soft beauty imbued with distance that defines the character, preserving it through photographic light and shadow. Fully immersing oneself and weaving these experiences into the photos brings a deeply pure form of joy.
