This time, I tried out the look of Denia from Wuthering Waves, and invested a lot of thought into everything from the gradient treatment of the wig to the restoration of costume details. The pink-white-blue three-color gradient hair looks truly translucent under the lights, and when combined with the black hair accessory on top and the sapphire necklet, the overall visual layering pops out instantly. For the outfit, the white cinched-waist skirt hem paired with the black-and-red color-blocked detached sleeves and gloves gives off the crispness of a combat character while retaining some soft, beautiful elements.
Regarding the props, I specifically made the spherical component of the staff. The transparent purple sphere features a gradient filling, which, paired with the on-set church-style stained glass windows and white Roman columns, yielded highly ideal light and shadow effects. During the shoot, I adjusted my sitting posture multiple times to showcase the drape of the skirt hem and the perspective relationship of the prop. This snapshot holding my high heels was a spontaneous idea, but it unexpectedly added a more casual vibe. The white plush carpet and violet floral arrangements softened the color tone of the frame, beautifully complementing the character's own cool color palette.
Honestly, this kind of fantasy-style character demands a lot from the makeup look. The blue and purple blending of the eye makeup needs to echo the hair color while preserving the clarity of the eyes. Overall, I subtly tweaked the skin tone and highlights in post-production to restore the texture under natural light as much as possible. Every Roleplay session is a deepening of my understanding of the character. From costume materials to atmosphere creation, it makes me truly happy to blend my own ideas into this Cosplay photography of my 2D daily life.
