This time, the real-scene studio for the shoot was set up with a very classical aura. The white grand piano paired with a large amount of blue-toned floral arts perfectly matches this blue-and-white-themed bride cosplay.

A lot of effort went into preparing this white bride gown. The outer layer consists of light, semi-transparent sheer tulle and lace embroidery, while the inner lining's tailoring needs to ensure both visual lightness and coordinate with a series of large-scale movements. To replicate the specific texture, we specially paired it with long white lace gloves and a neck accessory with complex details. The pair of massive white bow knots and the flowing veil on the headpiece are the highlights, and combined with the light blue long straight wig and delicate star and moon hair accessories, the overall look's layering is fuller. For the makeup, to complement the light cool-tone color scheme, the base makeup was done very clean and white, while the focus landed on the red-pink blending around the eyes. Cooperating with the contact lenses, this allows the gaze to be more focused in the frame, avoiding looking weak due to the large area of cool colors.

The preparation work on the day of the shoot was very long, and photographer @-长生剑 put a lot of thought into the lighting. Although the real-scene studio was gorgeously decorated, the space was limited; finding the best camera positions on the piano and among the flowers required constant adjustments. For example, for a group of sitting poses, I needed to adjust to the most extended posture on the piano stool, aiming to both let the skirt hem's lace fall naturally and let the rim lighting or fill light shine perfectly through the light sheer, revealing the leg lines. The composition angle for reclining on the piano was very tricky. To capture both the facial expressions clearly and the elongated semi-transparent skirt hem simultaneously, I basically supported my body mid-air, capturing many shots coordinated with the fluttering of the feathered tulle.

The blue-and-white cool light of these four official photos finally set a very clean and translucent tone, discarding excess miscellaneous colors to make the subject stand out more. The white flower bouquet on the piano and that blue butterfly prop became the crowning touch of the frame, breaking the monotony of the pure white background. The white high heels and the lace elements on the legs look high-textured under this tone, which not only elongated the proportions but also reinforced the gentle atmosphere. When shooting this kind of theme, the biggest fear is the clothes wrinkling due to walking around, so we basically had to organize the clothing and wig once after every shot, ensuring every piece's texture was in place.

Although the lighting in this kind of real-scene studio sometimes causes reflections on the semi-transparent light sheer, the photographer's exposure control was just right, preserving the details of the sheer fabric without overexposing. During post-processing, no excessive soft-focus special effects were added; instead, the contrast between highlights and shadows was enhanced to give the white veil more dimensionality. Throughout the entire shoot, the coordination of every stage—from makeup/styling to the set design and then to the light and shadow—achieved the expected results. Being able to record this styling and scene itself is a highly meaningful thing for our cosplay photography.
