This is an outdoor photoshoot set of a Sangonomiya Kokomi doujin cosplay outfit, shot on location at Garden Expo Park. During the design phase of this costume, to match the character's personality, we deliberately refrained from choosing heavy fabrics, keeping the main color palette light purple and white, with a royal blue bow serving as the visual anchor. The upper garment features an off-the-shoulder design that naturally showcases shoulder and collarbone lines, while multi-layered ruffle details on the cuffs nicely accentuate the arms. The hemline adopts an asymmetrical cut with space left on the sides, making it convenient to turn and lift the skirt during posing.

For this shoot, we maintained a clean and translucent feel in our makeup and styling. The base makeup fit skin tones naturally, with focus placed on eye-enlarging effects. Purple colored contacts matched the wig tone seamlessly, while pointed ear props and a blue teardrop forehead pendant elevated the overall look's completion significantly. On the day of the photoshoot, we were blessed with overcast yet pleasant weather; Garden Expo Park's lush vegetation and natural environment complemented the outfit's ethereal lightness perfectly.

Throughout the process, the photographer excelled at capturing dynamic moments when the wind blew. We sought suitable angles along lakeside wooden boardwalks, hillside stone posts, and greenery belts. The lakeside scene was particularly memorable: the breeze blew the light purple gauze skirt into a flowing wave, freezing that weightless feel the moment the shutter snapped. To achieve that natural effect while the skirt flared up, the body had to remain stable, requiring core control during posing; nonetheless, the final photos met all expectations.

Regarding the character herself, that composure and gentleness infused with Hydro power was the exact vibe I wished to convey most in this Outdoor photography session. Reflecting her quote, \"A fish in the water has its own direction,\" I wanted to faithfully recreate that serenity and self-assurance through outfit details and facial expressions. Later in the shoot, I also experimented with seated poses and foreground blur compositions—such as utilizing the park's wisteria flowers as foreground elements to partially frame the shot and enrich visual depth.

The entire shoot lasted roughly three hours. Although it required constant adjustments to the skirt hem, touch-ups on the wig, and maintaining clean makeup in between, the final result made every effort worthwhile. This piece of ACG-style clothing boasts many delicate details—such as collar piping and bead trimmings on the cuffs—giving the relatively sleek silhouette rich detail variations.

Coordination between costume, makeup, props, and photography went very smoothly; simply standing naturally yielded a wonderful ambiance. Compared to official designs, doujin cosplay outfits tweak certain accessory colorways and textures, which happens to be a delightful real-world embodiment of two-dimensional characters.

For the photo seated on the stone bench, side-front lighting illuminated the scene without casting harsh shadows, perfectly fitting a crisp and bright aesthetic. The overall visual tone of this photoshoot set feels comfortable and harmonizes well with Garden Expo Park's lush greenery. Given future opportunities, I would love to tackle other styles of outdoor photography and explore more diverse creative expressions.
