This time, I am bringing you the look of Umikaze Bunny from Blue Archive. The overall vibe is meant to be refreshing yet playful. For this Cosplay outfit design, I specially chose white plush bunny ears paired with a light blue skirt hem, matching the fluffy grayish-purple twin-tailed wig to capture the character's original coolness in terms of color. The shoot used a high-key bright studio setup, with softboxes emitting even diffuse reflection light to maximize the soft texture of the plush materials while making the skin tone look exceptionally translucent.

In terms of posing design, I tried several different angles to express the character's personality. For example, leaning forward while supporting myself on a circular platform with one hand to simulate an interactive feel of trying to grab something; also holding that iconic yellow chick plushie, sitting on the platform and turning slightly to let the skirt hem naturally spread out, revealing the layered details of the white thigh-highs. The standing poses with hands on hips or lifting one leg to toss the plushie were aimed at adding some lively movement, allowing static photos to convey dynamic emotions.

For the makeup, the focus was on the transparency of the eye makeup, using light blue and pink eyeshadow blending, paired with distinct eyelashes and a fleshy pink lip glaze to make the overall temperament look more youthful and adorable. Styling the wig was also crucial; it was necessary to ensure the curves of the twin tails were natural and fluffy without looking stiff. The chick plushie as a prop acted as a nice embellishment, greatly enriching the color contrast of the frame, with the yellow, blue, and white combination being highly eye-catching.

The difficulty of this Bunny girl cosplay lay in how to balance cuteness and elegance, without being overly sweet while preserving the character's unique crisp coolness. Therefore, during post-processing, only basic white balance calibration and slight skin-smoothing were done to retain the real texture of the skin, emphasizing the clarity of the light. I hope everyone can feel the summer breeze from this Umikaze Bunny cosplay, which is my visual presentation of my understanding of the character. This project has been an amazing experience in Anime-style photography.
