Diving into Blue Archive's Bunny girl cosplay for Asuna was an absolute blast for this convention shoot. Sorting through the camera roll just now, the glossy light-blue fabric paired with pink-and-white bunny ears and a halter high neck looked stunning under the ambient hall lighting. The white turn-down collar and blue necktie accents at the throat added just the right touch, while pure white short gloves kept the overall palette crisp and clean. In reality, wearing high-shine bodysuits truly tests tailoring craftsmanship; the fabric is relatively structured, meaning any crease or ill-fitting seam becomes glaringly obvious on camera. Fortunately, the fit was quite solid; while crouching or making large movements pinched slightly under the arms, standing upright blended the fabric's luster with body curves seamlessly. The blue, white, and black prop firearm was crafted sturdily by the prop maker and carried substantial heft. To convey the tension of a character standing off with a gun, I had to keep arm muscles engaged, prevent the gun barrel from obscuring body contours, and lower my center of gravity while bending or turning sideways to hold the weapon steady.
We chose the indoor exhibition main hall for the shoot, with tall architectural pillars and passing attendees in the background. The marble floor reflections were surprisingly flattering; combined with softboxes and studio lights set up on site, a side rim light highlighted the glossy bodysuit's texture beautifully. The photographer snapped candid moments quickly as we adjusted angles and poses. Taking the first kneeling shot on hard stone through a single layer of stockings left my knees aching, but I gritted my teeth to hold the pose so the composition could showcase the firearm and leg lines fully.
