For this Azur Lane Cool Summer Festival shoot, we prepared three distinct looks: Janus's sailor uniform, Changfeng's maid outfit, and Janus's swimsuit. The shoot took place against a blue studio backdrop with cool white overhead and rim lighting suited to the summer theme, lending a clear, translucent glow to skin tones.
First up was Janus's 'Fretful Changing Time' ensemble. A cropped white sailor top, pleated skirt, and White stockings with a high-waisted midriff cut highlighted feminine curves. Before shooting, I blotted my T-zone to ensure a unified matte finish across face and body. Because White stockings reflect heavily under bright studio lights, I turned my torso, engaged my ankles, and shifted weight to lengthen leg lines.
Next came Changfeng's maid outfit. Long straight black hair paired with a monochrome ruffled dress featuring a voluminous skirt. Sitting on a wooden bench, I adjusted the hem folds to keep movements natural. The mop prop with its white cloth cover and grey pom-pom added character, though holding it became tiring, so we took quick turns posing to convey a languid, gentle disposition.
Finally, Janus's swimsuit look: a white camisole top, white shorts, and an oversized sun hat set on a wooden beach lounger. The wide brim cast deep facial shadows, requiring me to tilt up or angle slightly to catch key light. Barefoot poses with extended legs and a pink water gun brought dynamic summer energy.
Featuring myself alongside Haixiu7, Shima Aoi, and Ermei aa, we shared styling space, adjusting wigs and steaming fabrics between takes. Changfeng's long straight black wig required generous pomade and shaping to maintain volume. The warm studio creased the white garments easily, needing regular steaming and lint-rolling between frames. The photographer guided compositions and expressions smoothly. Each outfit offered distinct charm—from the delicate cool of sailor uniforms and White stockings to the poised maid dress and relaxed summer leisure of the swimsuit.
