This Nangong Yu costume is packed with rich details. The contrast between the black leather sleeves and pink ruffles creates a striking visual impact. The wig features long black-to-pink gradient twintails, where layered styling was essential. Combined with the oversized pink bow on the head and mint green accent bows at the feet, achieving full accuracy took a significant amount of time. For makeup, I chose enlarging reddish-brown lenses paired with heavier eye makeup to accentuate her gaze, while retaining facial dimension during retouching. For the shoot, the first shot was taken from a frontal angle to showcase the costume's silhouette. For the third mirror shot, adjusting the camera took quite some time to fully capture the back skirt hem and fuzzy cuffs against a soft-lit wall. As the captain of Angels of Delusion, I researched extensively for this project. The cut of the outfit is very demanding on body proportions, so the red-and-black plaid tie and skirt ruffles were tailored as closely as possible to the original design. The set was kept simple at home, relying primarily on color grading in post-processing to recreate Zenless Zone Zero's industrial and apocalyptic atmosphere. The black, pink, and white palette highlighted with mint green delivers strong visual layers, making the shoot turn out wonderfully. Beyond styling and makeup, this cosplay was all about capturing subtle nuances, so I kept poses minimal to convey her calm yet sweet-and-cool persona through simple glances and gestures. Overall, the final presentation met my expectations and marks a satisfying photoshoot after being occupied with team duties.
