[Columbina Cosplay] Genshin Impact Moon Maiden: A Tranquil Freeze-Frame Under Cool Tones

Opening up the Genshin Impact Columbina cosplay archives, this Moon Maiden look underwent careful deliberation on many details from the fitting stage to the formal shoot.
We chose cool-toned lighting and shadows to accentuate the character's ethereal feel, pairing it with a pure white bouquet in hand to make the frame quiet and pure.
The wig features black hair with cherry blossom pink highlights at the tips, while the white wing accessory on top of the head is of moderate weight, securely fixed among the strands via clips. The white ribbons hanging down on both sides were also tied to prevent slipping issues during the shoot.
In terms of costume details, this blue-and-white off-the-shoulder dress features golden collar decorations and a large blue gem in the center, making the visual focus of the upper body very prominent. The translucent white gauze straps wrapped around the arms and the wide, draped cuffs add a lightweight sense of layering. In the second set of full-body shots, the white straps and thigh rings on the thighs are also important visual elements, outlining the lines nicely through tension adjustments.
The shooting location was chosen in front of a vintage white window, where the photographer arranged many purplish-blue flowers and hanging vines, perfectly fitting the dreamy traits of the character. For lighting, a soft cool-toned main light was cast, highlighting the fairness of the skin and the texture of the costume. When holding the white flowers, special attention was paid to the curve of the arms, ensuring the flower's flow organically linked with the clothing lines.
This shoot experimented with two compositions: close-ups emphasizing facial expressions and makeup refinement, while the medium full-body shots fully displayed the wings, straps, and attire. When posing, extra care was taken to let the shoulders drop naturally and focus the gaze onto the lens. The lightweight design of the outfit allowed me to move my limbs freely without restriction.
Post-processing focused on a realistic and natural cool tone, ensuring the deep shades of the eye makeup and the cool tone of the apparel harmonized seamlessly. Staying true to our original intention to restore the character is far more meaningful than piling on unnecessary embellishments. The tranquil beauty of the Moon Maiden is contained within these captured concrete moments.
