[Waguri Kaoruko Cosplay] A Sweet Afternoon Tea Time Amidst The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity

At this MCcake Miss Cabbage shop in Changsha, taking advantage of the perfect afternoon light, I finally finished shooting this look that I've been planning for a while. The pink decoration style in the shop, along with the almost illegally exquisite plating of the desserts, is indeed very suitable for presenting that daily sense of sweet atmosphere in The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity.

For the makeup and hair styling, I chose long, deep purplish-black wavy hair paired with bright blue colored contacts and pink makeup that emphasizes the eye area and cheeks. To stay true to the character's feel, the hairstyle keeps straight bangs and a black headband. The outfit is a loose pink sailor-collared blouse with a white collar and black ribbon, a design that looks highly breathable against the green and white paneled wall background.

The composition of this shoot intentionally incorporates the ambient atmosphere of the scene. Sitting on a checkered fabric sofa, the round table in front of me is filled with props. A red mushroom-shaped teapot, along with forks and spoons with duck head handles—these little clever ideas fill the entire frame with a childlike charm, offering a beautiful glimpse into a girly daily life. Several desserts in the shop are highly photogenic; the pink hue of the raspberry Basque cheesecake is extremely eye-catching, with a perfect balance of sour and sweet. The Oreo salted cream cake has a rich layering, and that apple pudding is refreshing and cuts through the richness, serving as a wonderful interactive prop during continuous shooting.

During the shoot, I experimented with several emotional directions. Whether interacting directly while holding a fork, cupping my face with both hands, or leaning against the table to gaze quietly into the lens, paired with the shop's warm lighting and a soft-focus photography style, both the skin texture and costume details were beautifully presented. To take an ideal set of photos, the right environment can really add a lot to the character. This cake shop selected in Changsha certainly didn't disappoint; not only is the photo production rate high, but the aesthetic value of the products is also top-tier.
