[Waguri Kaoruko cosplay] The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity with Rintaro-kun

After putting on this pink sailor uniform and preparing the purple wig and blue colored contact lenses, the shoot for Waguri Kaoruko officially began. Keeping in mind the themes of Rintaro-kun and how the fragrant flower blooms with dignity, I focused on capturing an aura that is still yet dynamic, gentle yet resolute. For the makeup, to harmonize with the purplish hair and blue eyes, I opted for soft pink-toned cosmetics across the face with a clear, translucent base, finished with glossy lip gloss to bring out lively expressions. The purple wig was essential; it needed a natural, airy fluffiness, especially around the bangs which frame the face. The pink sailor uniform features brown stripes on the collar and a neat black ribbon tied at the chest—keeping these details tidy makes the whole image look much more refined. Since the setting was a brightly lit dressing room, I tried multiple selfie angles. Photo three features a clean, centered composition that displays both the outfit and expression clearly. Photos two and five are side-profile close-ups highlighting the bridge of the nose and jawline, which, combined with the gaze from the blue colored contact lenses, create a sense of storytelling. Later, I paired the outfit with a plaid scarf in the soft lighting of the corridor; its deeper hue complemented the pink sailor uniform without overpowering it. For close-up shots, angling slightly downward or looking directly into the lens emphasized the long eyelashes and blue colored contact lenses for an ethereal look. To maintain depth, I subtly angled my face toward the light during profile shots to create smooth, natural shadows, while slightly tilting my head in frontal shots helped anchor the character's presence naturally. Instead of relying on extra accessories like stockings or high heels, the quality of the uniform and the character's graceful poise were enough to convey her genuine charm. Every mirror selfie and close-up captured a different facet of the character, fulfilling my vision for this shoot with unified tones and clean visual balance.
