This time I am doing Waguri Kaoruko cosplay. The overall makeup and styling mainly pair a purple-gray curly wig with a lotus-pink cable-knit cardigan and a long pleated skirt, creating a soft and slightly lazy atmosphere. The purple wig underwent detailed braiding and subtle curling; the fluffiness on top combined with the curvature of the bangs makes the face shape look more delicate and small. For the makeup, I intentionally toned down the heaviness of the eyeshadow, using light-colored contact lenses and naturally elongated eyeliner to highlight the agility of the gaze. The lip color is a low-saturation dusty pink, unifying with the tones of the clothes to make the overall visuals more translucent.

The outdoor photography session was selected in an alley with tree shadows during the afternoon. The sunlight filters through the leaves to form dappled spots right onto the texture of the sweater. The three-dimensional feel of the knitwear and the folds of the skirt hem show wonderful layers under the backlighting. In the crouching pose photo, I slightly pulled back my shoulders and neck; the chin-resting posture hides the excessive stacking of the sleeves while making the upper body lines sleeker. The indoor shot is a casual behind-the-scenes snippet; under the warm light, the sweater shows a creamy texture, and the wooden shelves and picture frames in the background add a touch of daily life. The photo making a heart shape used a large aperture to blur the background, locking the visual focus onto the hand movements and facial expressions.

The advantage of this outfit is that the color scheme feels like a comfortable daily outfit, but cable-knit items easily look bulky. Therefore, when taking photos, I pay attention to pulling up the sleeves to expose my wrists or using arm movements to create space, preventing it from looking visually heavy. The skirt chosen is a lightweight pleated chiffon with a great drape, easily creating a flowing effect when walking or sitting down. Overall, this is a set of photos that balances both character accuracy and the aesthetic beauty of a daily outfit. I hope to convey that cool yet gentle feeling unique to Waguri Kaoruko.
