[Waguri Kaoruko cosplay] A Winter Healing Moment of The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity

For shooting Waguri Kaoruko from The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, I chose the CC.CAKE bakery at Exit 3 of the Renmin East Road Metro Station. The snow machine and white Christmas tree setup inside the shop perfectly match the character's pure love anime cosplay vibe. For my makeup and styling, I went with a light purple updo and blue-green colored contacts, focusing on embodying that clear tenderness in the character's eyes. For clothing, I selected a pinkish-purple chunky knit cardigan paired with a white ruffled bow-tie shirt inside, making the overall color tone look exceptionally soft.

The Christmas tree arranged in the shop was wrapped with warm-toned light bulbs, decorated with big pink bows and several plush toys, which added a lot of color to the scene for this Christmas theme cosplay. During the shoot, the lace basket, fresh flowers, and signature mini cakes nearby all became great props, especially those fruit mini cakes, which felt incredibly natural to interact with when holding them in my hands. In terms of lighting, I utilized the warm lights in the shop along with the reflection from the snow machine to help brighten my facial skin tone, making the base makeup look clearer.

Since the layout of the scene was quite rich, I designed various poses such as leaning next to the cabinet, sitting on the platform, or resting my chin on both hands, aiming to get closer to the character's daily personality through body language as much as possible. For this kind of Indoor location cosplay, props and lighting are the keys to the sense of atmosphere. The cooperation with the shop owner this time was also very seamless, and I am quite satisfied with the texture and atmosphere of the final official photos. The overall warm tone and the winter elements in the scene indeed fit the character's original gentle vibe exceptionally well.
