[Sparkle Cosplay] The Fiery Little Devil in Honkai: Star Rail, Warming Up for New Year in Advance

Doing this Sparkle cosplay this time really took a lot of effort. From the giant bow on the hair to the red beauty mark under the eye, every detail was restored as closely as possible. The red high-slit dress skirt, paired with a black choker and gold accents, delivers a strong visual punch. For the second and third photos, I deliberately tried two different vibes with my poses: when sitting, I wanted to convey her cunning yet confident temperament, while the reclining and stretching posture was meant to fully showcase my leg lines and the details of the strappy high heels. Though posing was quite exhausting, the final shots were truly striking. During the shoot, we specially prepared maple leaves and plum blossom branches, which, together with the gold ingots and red velvet backdrop, created an atmosphere that was both festive and subtly alluring. The fox mask in hand was also a great interactive prop—whether used to half-cover the face or casually toy with, it made for fantastic anime cosplay shots. As for the character's expression, I felt it shouldn't be just a simple smile; there needed to be something elusive in her eyes, so I adjusted the eye angle and subtle chin tuck toward the lens several times. The photographer's lighting was also key—side-backlighting created beautiful highlights along the edges of my hair and bow, while the overall warm color tone fit the lively vibe of a New Year photoshoot. Although there are still over two hundred days until the actual New Year, shooting a fiery red photoset in advance felt great to preserve this festive mood. Taking the costume on and off wasn't too troublesome, but the high heels definitely tested my posture; I had to constantly remind myself not to twist my ankle during shooting. In post-processing, no excessive skin smoothing was done to maintain natural skin texture and depth of light and shadow, making everything look more authentic and natural. Overall, the creative process went smoothly, with props and set designs coordinating wonderfully. I hope this photoset allows everyone to feel the unique presence of this character.
