When putting on this Herta costume, the first thing I felt was the sense of pressure brought by that giant magic hat, but it is precisely this iconic element that instantly maxes out the character's aura. To recreate the aloof and noble nature in the original design, the wig chosen this time is long silver-purple hair with a gradient blend. The strands were styled multiple times to perfectly frame the edges of my cheeks, shifting the visual focus to the purple eyes and crystal-clear lip color.

The details of the costume itself are exceptionally solid. The keyhole decoration on the chest not only recreates the game's design, but its metallic texture and surface luster also add a touch of mystery fitting for the Genius Society to the overall look. Paired with large areas of white ruffled sleeves and a black leather corset, it showcases the character's elegant temperament while enhancing the visual impact of the photos through distinct layering. The holding feel of the staff in my hand is also amazing, with its patterns and hollowed-out design echoing the purple tones of the skirt hem perfectly.

For this shoot, I specifically chose a warm-toned, dimly lit study setting. Compared to the cool-toned laboratory where Herta frequently appears in Honkai: Star Rail, this environment filled with vintage books and warm yellow lighting instead makes the skin tone look more translucent, giving the character an elegant aura of contemplation in the silence. During the shoot, to capture the unique charm of the character, I deliberately switched between a slightly downcast gaze and looking directly at the camera, wanting to express that composure of knowing the starry sky along with a slightly playful confidence. Of course, this gear posed quite a few minor challenges when striking poses during the shoot. Because the large brim of the hat blocks a major portion of the light, the camera positions and lighting angles required very meticulous adjustments to keep the face free of shadows while avoiding overexposed highlights. The combination of the staff and the lace on the cuffs actually snags on the clothes easily when turning around; even a slight movement requires re-arranging the cuffs. However, seeing the visuals interwoven with these exquisite props and the hairstyle in the final photoshoot, all the hard work during the entire shooting process became completely worth it. Putting my heart into recreating every single detail, including the refinement at my fingertips, I hope to let everyone see a Herta who is as close to the original setting as possible, filled with wisdom and confidence.
