Preparing for this finished photoshoot of The Shorekeeper from Wuthering Waves genuinely demanded immense dedication. From pattern drafting to wig styling, everything underwent continuous adjustments. The tactile layering of this outfit is exceptionally rich: tiers of semi-translucent white and pale cyan tulle cascade over generous cutouts at the waist and back, adorned with silver metallic accents. To heighten an airy, weightless feel, I paired it with white wavy-textured Stockings and white stiletto heeled sandals, visually elongating the leg lines. Given the costume's intricacy, putting it on required utmost care to keep the delicate ties and silver butterfly motifs neat, demanding immense patience from start to finish.
The shoot was staged inside a curated white cathedral set featuring antique columns and stained-glass windows. Lush blue and purple floral arrangements paired with reflective black flooring created a dreamlike ambiance. To bring out the floating drape of the skirt, I put careful thought into my standing postures—tightening my core, slightly raising one leg, and letting my arms extend naturally so the deep navy sheer train behind me could spread gracefully. These seemingly effortless dynamic poses actually tested endurance and balance, often requiring multiple takes to catch that perfect flaring arc. Moreover, to avoid stepping on the floor-sweeping train while posing, I constantly monitored foot placement while keeping my upper body upright to accentuate the lines of the back and waist.
For lighting, the photographer blended natural light with subtle fill lights, highlighting the metallic sheen of the silver butterfly pins and the delicate glitter embedded in the fabrics. During close-up shots, I softened my gaze and paired it with gentle hand gestures—lightly clasping hands or extending fingers outward—to convey the character's serene, enigmatic essence. The makeup followed a sheer, dewy direction, accented with fine glitter around the eyes to echo the overarching blue palette. To harmonize with the set florals, I also held a bouquet of blue blossoms, bringing color coordination into balance. Beyond preserving the character's inherent Sweet girl grace, this photo set incorporates my own creative interpretation. Maintaining demanding poses throughout was exhausting, yet witnessing the final light, shadow, and detail fidelity made every bit of effort worthwhile. I hope these images convey this quiet, singular beauty.
