The moment the shutter clicked, I stood in the studio of the Senling Secret Realm Changsha store, dressed in this blue and white costume and accessories, hoping to present the pure and fiery aura of Luo Tianyi during the Pure Blue Fantasy Music tour.

The texture of this costume is truly crafted with great care, featuring large areas of royal blue silk fabric layered with multiple plies of white thin tulle and fine metal chain decorations. The hollow-out design on the chest, along with the ruffles and pleats on the cuffs and shoulders, makes the entire garment look both gorgeous and breathable. Silver and gold borders are neatly distributed across the neckline and waistline, paired with white long gloves and leg straps, giving the entire styling a unique aesthetic that interlaces court style with sci-fi. Even though it was a studio shoot, the layers of the costume and the direction of the flowing ribbons needed repeated adjustments to present the most naturally fluid state.

The silhouette of the headpiece is highly massive with intricate details. To make the head-to-body proportion look coordinated in front of the lens, we put a lot of effort into the hair and makeup during the early stage, needing to sustain that ethereal fairy vibe without appearing too heavy on the head. After putting on the blue and white wig, the stylist arranged the hair strands into natural curves, which, combined with the flowers and circular hollow accessories on the decorations, looked as agile as water waves. For the makeup, we intentionally leaned toward a clear and clean texture, emphasizing the contour of the eyes so that the facial features would appear three-dimensional against the blue light and shadow.

The design of the shooting scene is absolutely a major highlight—pure white Roman columns, blue and white faux bouquets, a tilted golden picture frame, and the blue glass lattice windows in the background all perfectly echo the blue and white color palette of the costume. The blue wrinkled reflective fabric spread across the floor is a stroke of genius, diffusely reflecting the light shot from overhead onto the skirt hem, making the costume's color look more rich and deep. In terms of light selection, the photographer specifically utilized a combination of side-backlighting and diffuse reflection, allowing the blue light to filter through the background lattice windows, enveloping the entire person in a dreamlike halo.

In controlling the movements and expressions, I feel the soul of this photo set lies in the transmission of the gaze. In the pictures, I tried a stretched standing posture and a leaning sitting posture; the former expresses lightness and flair on stage, while the latter displays soft beauty and crispness when quiet. The entire shooting process was actually quite physically consuming; the headpiece had weight, and the skirt hem easily tripped my feet, but every time I saw that pure sense of light and the interwoven blue and white visual effect in the viewfinder, I felt everything was worth it. This set of works is also the most direct materialization of this theme, hoping to freeze that pure stage atmosphere within the photos for the 2D Vision Project.
