The convention floor photos for my Ganyu Cosplay are finally sorted. To ensure the best visual impact, I deliberately chose this instantly recognizable blue-and-white ensemble. The wig underwent several rounds of trimming so that the ahoge on top and the pink horn-like hair accessories on both sides closely mirrored the original character design. The jacquard weave and metallic accents across the garments looked exceptionally rich under the venue's intense overhead lighting, especially the bell at the neckline, which chimed softly with every step.

Regarding the bow prop that everyone asked about, it was crafted from lightweight materials and finished with a blue-to-white gradient and gold trim. Due to its large volume, I had to stay mindful of its center of gravity at all times, as holding it during action stances could easily disrupt balance. The blue gloves and detached sleeves were fitted with internal hidden snaps; while slightly cumbersome to slip into, they stayed securely anchored throughout the shoot without slipping down.

The shoot took place in the main hall of the convention center, utilizing the overhead metal trusses and natural skylight. To convey the dynamic tension of drawing a bow, the photographer recommended a low-stance lunge. This demanded considerable core and leg stability—especially maintaining a wide, grounded stance on slick tile floors while wearing high heels, requiring continuous tension in my knees and ankles. The golden geometric lines along the brown Stockings were custom-printed, accented by red ankle ribbons to add rich visual contrast. Holding that stance for extended takes was exhausting, but the resulting leg lines looked remarkably elongated and graceful on camera.

For the shots seated on the ladder, the goal was to capture a comparatively relaxed, languid demeanor; raising my arms overhead meant keeping my neck and shoulders relaxed to avoid visible stiffness. The makeup leaned fresh and luminous, centered on matching the blue contact lenses with soft eye shading. Convention hall lighting is notoriously chaotic; balancing accurate facial exposure without letting the delicate blues of the costume turn dull or gray put the photographer's color temperature mastery to the test.

In truth, early preparations for this convention were extensive. The flowing ribbons and rear ornaments had to be steam-ironed in advance to keep the silhouette crisp before the lens. I also practiced holding the bow in front of a mirror countless times; because the prop had noticeable heft, lacking proper leverage would distort not only the posture but also strain facial expressions. Shooting amid surging crowds in a bustling exhibition hall is also a great exercise in mental focus, requiring rapid immersion into character. Overall, the command over wardrobe and props fulfilled our expectations, and the physical conditioning proved deeply rewarding. The cohesive cool palette allowed the blue wig and costume to harmonize effortlessly with the venue's industrial tones, making every bit of effort well worth it.
