[Huohuo cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Late-night shift diary of the Ten-Lords Commission's little judge

It's late at night, the corridors of the Ten-Lords Commission are completely quiet, and I am hugging a banner, shivering on a bed covered with a fluffy blanket. Who gets it, family? I was really scared out of my wits this time, but my shift duties require me to hold the banner and not cry—the little judge's pride still needs to be forcefully maintained.

This Honkai: Star Rail Huohuo cosplay costume has an incredible amount of details. Before wearing it, I had already prepared myself to battle all kinds of accessories. The wig was trimmed for layers, with blunt bangs and sideburns fitting the face shape. The white plush ear hair accessories on both sides of the head paired with the dark blue cloth headscarf create a strong visual impact with their color collision. The clothing features an off-the-shoulder design, with a cyan-blue base paired with golden cloud-patterned borders, and wide, weighty cuffs. The Taiji accessory at the chest and the red tassels serve as a great finishing touch, and the metal ball pendant at the waist and brown leather belt also have a great texture; once you put it on and sit down, that vibe is instantly there.

The lower body is matched with green leg straps and white slouch socks, with green tassel decorations along the edges of the socks, stepping in black cloth shoes. To fit the character's temperament, my makeup this time focused on highlighting a translucent feel, wearing bright blue contact lenses, blending orange-red around the outer corners of the eyes, and using a high-gloss lip glaze for the lips. While taking photos, I kept adjusting my gaze, trying to portray that state of being both terrified yet trying hard to stay professional, innocent yet carrying a hint of silly cuteness.

To restore the late-night Ten-Lords Commission scene, a wooden screen was set up on-site, backed by a huge glowing full moon backdrop board, along with draping white translucent gauze curtains. The lighting technician put a lot of thought into the lighting, using cool-toned light to render the entire atmosphere as extremely dreamy yet somewhat eerie. I sat on the fluffy white blanket, holding a bright yellow rabbit paper-cutting prop. Although the setting is that she is scared, holding these cute little props while matching slightly parted lips and wide-eyed expressions adds a touch of comical cuteness.

Shooting this set of ancient style photoshoot night scenes was actually quite a test of physical strength, because I had to maintain various sitting postures, caring about the form of the clothes while also paying attention to the placement of the legs. Since it's a combination of shorts, white stockings, and slouch socks, a little carelessness could easily lead to a wardrobe malfunction or make me look chubby, so I kept adjusting my angles, trying to showcase the leg lines while maintaining the character's due cuteness and slight sexiness. After a few sets of actions, my back was already slightly sweating, but seeing the plush texture, cool-toned curtains, and vivid character state played back in the camera, I truly felt all the hard work was worth it.

Under such a serious background as the Ten-Lords Commission, Huohuo as a character is inherently full of contrast. Being able to present her cute state of being timid yet serious on duty through the cooperation of clothing, makeup, props, and scenes is also a concrete expression of my understanding of the character. Afterwards, I will continue to study more works of different styles, hoping to bring everyone a better visual experience.
