[Seiga Kaku cosplay] Touhou Project, restoring the beauty of the immortal in the swirling mist

My core goal for this Touhou Project Seiga Kaku cosplay was to restore that dreamlike and agile temperament. In terms of costume design, I chose a large amount of lightweight tulle and multi-layered lace stitching. To increase visual impact during shooting, I added sequins and fine embroidery to the hem and cuffs, giving the clothing a rich sense of layering as light and shadow flow. Regarding makeup, to match the character's cool yet charming personality, I applied a large area of soft blended eyeshadow to create a hazy, broken-in feeling. I also spent a lot of energy on skin texture processing, aiming for a transparent 'immortal aura.' In addition, the choice of props was key to creating the Atmosphere. The round fan with traditional Chinese patterns, combined with the dry ice smoke on site, greatly enhanced the dreamlike artistic conception. While pursuing the Chinese-style immortal fantasy style, I continuously polished the details of the entire work. Whether it is the curvature of the hairstyle or the drape of the clothing, I have strived to restore the unique charm of Seiga Kaku. This cosplay process, rich in oriental charm, is not only a deep excavation of my understanding of the character but also a self-challenge to aesthetics and technical details.
