The skirt I chose was a tiered cake skirt, which added layers to the overall look and gave the skirt a natural swing as I walked.

The weather in Guangzhou has been continuously rainy lately, so when we finally caught a rare moment of beautiful sunshine, the photographer Nocturneee and I rushed out to click the shutter. Actually, when doing this Anime cosplay of Megumi Kato, my focus is often on capturing her gaze. She doesn't need a strong presence; instead, that slightly dazed, natural state is closest to the character. In terms of photography, we used a wide aperture to blur the background, so even the raw, unedited photos already make the subject stand out strongly. The sunlight that day was bright, which is one of the reasons the light and shadow transitions are so natural. For photographer friends who want to try this style themselves, the best shooting time is actually between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, or after 3:00 PM. At these times, the angle of the sun is not too high, allowing it to cast a beautiful rim light on the side of the face or hair.
