For this shoot, I chose Everson's loungewear pajama look from Azur Lane. Right from the preparation stage, the focus was set on recreating that cozy, homey languidness. The texture of this white semi-sheer lace sleepwear is the highlight; paired with long white tulle gloves and a leg garter, it really accentuates the figure in photos, though the delicate fabric required extra care during posing to avoid snagging.

The wig is a blunt-cut, silver-white short bob with straight bangs. To match the character's Elf ears, I adjusted the position of the ear props in advance and used strands of hair to subtly conceal the seam, minimizing any visible mounting marks. For makeup, the focus was on adding depth to the eyes with pale pink eyeshadow echoing the character's eye color, keeping the complexion fair and pale to blend seamlessly into the cool-toned atmosphere.

A lot of thought went into scene dressing. A swing was specially set up on set, entwined with faux white blossoms and tulle drapery against a rippled blue reflective backdrop. The cool blue background perfectly set off the pure elegance of the white pajamas and silver-white hair. During the shoot, I discussed the lighting setup with the photographer; since the dress is semi-sheer, we used large softboxes along with front reflectors to highlight the lace texture, ensuring clear facial and body contours while avoiding overexposure that would wash out the texture in this Aesthetic photography session.

For the first photo, I chose a side-seated pose on the swing, holding a dark blue book. This posture required careful positioning of the pointed toes to keep the leg curves natural. The second photo boldly featured legs dangling and crossed in mid-air, with one hand gripping the rope and the other holding a flowering branch. Blurred foreground foliage created an interactive sense of peeking through bushes, as if she were sitting there waiting for the Commander to come chat.

The most amusing part between takes was adjusting the skirt hem—since the dress is relatively short, sitting required particular attention to posture and coverage while maintaining a relaxed, natural expression. The color of the prop book echoed the blue background, and holding it kept hand gestures from looking stiff. The entire shoot took a few hours with several lighting adjustments, finally yielding this highly atmospheric photo set. Post-processing restrained high-saturation filters in favor of cool, translucent blues and whites, faithfully recreating Everson's serene, cool, yet gentle persona in this Anime cosplay project.
