[Jie cosplay] Arknights: Sui Sibling Shoot Log

Shooting Jie cosplay from Arknights this time required substantial thought, from makeup tests to scene set construction. The dragon horns and elf ears on the head had to be secured very firmly to maintain the perfect angle, and the black-and-yellow gradient long hair took quite a while to style—especially the side braid, which required constant attention during the shoot to avoid messing it up. The costume is an orange-and-white color-blocked coat with a white inner lining; layering the garments was somewhat complex, but the depth and dimension were exceptional, producing very crisp, structured lines on camera.

A long staff prop was used during the shoot; gripping postures required deliberate coordination with hand details, carefully adjusting angles whether exerting force while standing or holding the staff while seated. The Chinese classical style backdrop was fantastic—wooden fences and red berry plants, combined with a circular backdrop panel light, rendered the overall lighting wonderfully soft. The photographer was exceptionally professional, patiently guiding my gaze and facial expressions to find the precise angles that best captured the character's aloof, serene elegance.

When taking this frontal photo, a centered composition was deliberately chosen to fully showcase the rune patterns on the costume, the prop in hand, and the character's intrinsic aura, making this framing perfect for a cover image. The entire shooting process was thoroughly fulfilling; from pre-production prep and on-set communication to post-color grading, the goal was always to faithfully recreate the character's temperament. Bringing this portrayal to life based on the original lore combined with Chinese classical style and Traditional style cosplay elements, I personally adore this photo set—it was an exceptionally delightful creative experience for this Photography sharing.
