As spring returns and years pass, who shares the journey? Peach blossoms brilliant and enchanting, pulling threads of emotion. The brilliant spring outdoor shoot of peach blossoms has finally met everyone, and this time I bring you the Wuthering Waves Jinhsi cosplay official photos.
Let's first talk about the details of this costume. The color layers of the outfit are very rich, with pink, white, and light blue as the main tones, paired with red straps and gold metal accessories. The top features an off-the-shoulder design, matched with wide white lantern sleeves that have delicate pleats at the cuffs. The waist accessories are relatively complex, featuring a brown belt and a crescent-shaped gold buckle, along with long ribbons trailing behind. The wig adopts a silver-white style with a pink gradient, and the gold crown on the forehead and the floral hair accessories on the side are the finishing touches of the entire styling. To restore the temperament in the original artwork, the makeup experimented with red-toned eyeshadow and lip color, making the overall look lean more towards a fantasy Traditional style.
A lot of effort was put into setting up the scene this time. The background features a large number of artificial cherry blossom trees, added with pink gauze drapes and full-moon-shaped lighting, creating a dreamy spring night atmosphere. In the photos, I am sitting on a bamboo raft with my feet immersed in the pool. The water was genuinely very cold, but in order to capture that clear and dynamic feeling, I persisted through it. Holding a translucent round fan in my hand, I tried to showcase some light dynamics. The warm yellow light of the moon lamp shone on the gauze drapes and cherry blossoms, which, combined with the reflection in the pool, gave the frame an exceptionally good sense of layering.
As a heavy Jinhsi dependent, this shoot actually brought quite a lot of pressure. Because I love this character deeply, I hoped to restore her charm as much as possible. Her trait of being cold yet carrying a touch of gentleness required repeated adjustments in posture and gaze expression. During the shoot, the photographer kept guiding me to adjust my sitting posture and hand movements, such as how to hold the round fan or how to naturally position my hands. We tried many angles before finally capturing these relatively satisfying images.
Although this outfit is beautiful, wearing it is quite cumbersome, especially the waist accessories and ribbons, which need to be reorganized with every slight movement. The wig is also very long, so care must be taken to prevent tangling during outdoor shooting. This shoot also gave me a deeper understanding of Anime cosplay—it's not just the restoration of external styling, but also getting close to the character's internal emotions. The reflection in the pool and the falling petals, combined with the texture of the bamboo raft, added a lot of vividness to the entire frame. This set of photos can be considered a wonderful attempt, and the overall light, shadow, and colors strive to maintain a natural translucency as much as possible.
