[Hiyuki cosplay] The Cool and Elegant Swordsman in Wuthering Waves, the Red and White Color Scheme Is Truly Photogenic - Image 2

This Hiyuki outfit has truly so many details; from the flower decorations at the waist to the translucent tulle on the cuffs, every single place hides design ingenuity. During the shoot, this Japanese room scene was specifically selected; the light and shadow of the wooden floors and paper sliding doors happen to bring out the layered feel of the red and white color scheme. The wig is silver-white with a hint of gray, paired with red eye makeup; letting the gaze zone out slightly can bring out that cool yet stubborn temperament of the character. I tried holding the weapon props long sword several times, aiming to show strength without blocking the light on my face, and finally simply sat down while propping up the sword with one hand, which turned out more natural and relaxed. The day of the shoot was actually very tiring because the clothing was layered and heavy, but seeing that quiet atmosphere in the final images made it feel completely worth it. I really enjoy the process of completely immersing myself into the character in front of the lens. This set of pictures did not undergo too much post-sharpening, retaining a bit of soft light from the raw photo to make the skin texture more realistic. For this kind of style leaning toward fantasy and Japanese style cosplay, the color temperature of the light is exceptionally important; only when cool white and warm yellow interweave can the white tulle look translucent. Without exaggeration, this set is one of my most satisfying cosplay works recently, fully demonstrating the charm of Roleplay.
