[Zai Ji cosplay] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Heartthrobs — Reborn from the Karmic Fire

Sharing a set of Zai Ji cosplay event photo delivery from the Changsha CLCS Anime Convention featuring the Heartthrobs skin. Huge thanks to my makeup and styling artist @亲爱的美丽 for their precise control, perfectly capturing that combination of pure desire and cool detachment unique to Zai Ji. Everything from the wig's hair flow texture, the fluffiness of the twin tails, to the color coordination of the eye makeup perfectly matched the character, keeping the entire look clean and translucent. The photographer @邪恶大蟑螂66 and post-editor @DEVINJ were also incredible. Under this studio lighting, they not only brought out the layers of the dress's black-and-gray gradient and the scattered star details, but also processed a very clean studio quality. The lens capture angles perfectly showcase the absolute best perspective of this outfit.

This Heartthrobs skin actually contains many subtle, clever details, such as the bow at the collar with star pendants, the black choker, and the detached grid-mesh sleeve cuffs on the arms. Through this event photo delivery, the clothing's cut and fabric texture can be clearly seen. To present a dynamic feeling, we experimented with various poses at the venue. Whether it was sitting naturally relaxed on the blanket or striking poses using a high stool, each beautifully showcased the different vibes of this outfit. The layering of the skirt hem is especially prominent in sitting and kneeling postures. When portraying Zai Ji—a character carrying a tragic undertone and an aura of rebirth—I hoped to preserve the determination in her eyes within the frames, while also matching the cuteness and playfulness of this Heartthrobs skin.

The convention atmosphere in Changsha is always amazing, and the venue for the Changsha CLCS Anime Convention is vast. The floor reflections mapped out excellent light source effects, making the entire studio process go very smoothly. The overall styling this time leaned towards lightweight and delicate, and pairing it with long silver-white hair truly made it highly photogenic. As a coser, I feel that to properly embody Zai Ji, you not only need physical alignment but also need to find an emotional resonance with her during the shoot, projecting her longing for life and her determination to break with the past. This event photo delivery serves as a satisfying answer sheet for my recent practice. From makeup and styling to the final images, every step is a concretization of my understanding of the character. I am also very happy to share this creative passion with everyone at the anime convention scene.
