When deciding on the theme for this summer vacation style photoset, we chose to abandon heavy textures and pursue an airy transparency unique to summer. Karyl's iconic black-and-blue gradient short hair paired with cat ears and goggles already naturally oozes playful agility; changing into this refreshing white short-sleeved shirt with a dark camisole and white shorts instantly made the overall visual feel incredibly light.

The scene setup was truly the visual core of this shoot. Photographer WiFi is exceptionally skilled at using props to build atmosphere, creating not just a simple backdrop, but genuinely stacking together a condensed summer courtyard feel. The wooden folding chair on the left provided not only seating, but combined with the woven straw hat tied with pink flowers and plush toys above, it instantly maximized the vacation filter. The acoustic guitar, the wooden crate labeled "WOODENBOX", and two sealed wine bottles intentionally added to the frame broke the monotony of conventional white studio shoots, giving the photos a richer lived-in quality. The inclusion of artificial palm trees and banana leaves was the finishing touch; although indoors, the accent of these green plants truly gave the illusion of sitting on a seaside terrace feeling a cool breeze.

The degree of freedom during the shoot was very high, and I tried various angles and poses to fit this "lazy" theme. I really love the highly dynamic low-angle composition in photo two. This perspective is actually quite uncommon in routine shoots because it requires strong trust between the model and the lens, as well as managing facial expressions and body language under ultra-wide angle or low-angle perspectives. The high kick gesture, the leaning-back posture, and the barefoot element together imparted a completely defenseless sense of relaxation to the image. This delivers a level of vividness that many stiff, formal photos simply cannot match.

The curled-up sitting pose in photo three leans toward a still snapshot of motion—sitting on the folding chair with both hands holding a green container, as if sipping a cool drink during a break in vacation, with focused yet soft eyes. This composition focuses the viewer's gaze on the face and upper body while displaying leg lines, maintaining visual balance. Meanwhile, the wide side-lying shot in photo one captured the full environment.

In terms of lighting, we decided on a bright yet soft lighting scheme, keeping the image in a luminous state near the edge of overexposure. This high-key Japanese photography style lacks harsh shadow transitions, making skin tones look exceptionally fair and giving the entire photo a dreamy quality that remains surprisingly close to the brilliant sunlight of a real summer day. The white drapes, white attire, and light-colored wooden frame all reflected this diffused light, ensuring unified and comfortable color tones throughout. This airy sense of transparency has a natural advantage when presenting swimsuit cosplay and vacation themes, never feeling heavy or greasy.

The shooting process was genuinely full of joy. As someone who cosplays frequently, I feel that great works are never made by one side alone, but through effective collaboration. The photographer adjusted camera positions in real time according to my posture, and I varied my poses according to the shot scale to complement the perspective of the lens. Although this outfit is lightweight to wear, posing under strong studio lights still required engaging my entire body's lines to keep the frame from looking limp. Fortunately, the prop setup made this an enjoyable experience; without forcing unnatural poses, that feeling of cozy ease flowed out naturally. Reviewing each shot after taking it, the raw photos already had a crisp, refreshing tone without requiring excessive post-processing.

Ultimately, the overall atmosphere was dialed in just right. Every single photo captured a slice of this summer's exclusive vacation, and I feel deeply satisfied to freeze this summer vibe belonging to Princess Connect! into time.
