Taking this set of convention photos in the noisy environment of the anime convention, the lens captures static moments, but what I want to express in my heart is a kind of tension that can explode at any time. This look combines a lot of techwear and sci-fi elements. The black glossy patent leather material is the focus of the entire visual. This fabric forms a very distinct reflective band under strong light, which, paired with the red lines on the edge of the top and the logo on the collar, directly reinforces that sharp sense belonging to a futuristic city under the reflection of the lights.

Regarding the makeup and hair, very detailed pre-processing was done. The wig gradients from light purple-blue to pink at the tips, and the straight bangs and relatively short straight hair make the overall head silhouette sharper. The eye makeup uses a dark red smudge combined with light-colored contact lenses, attempting to match the character's detached yet determined visual impression in the lore. To ensure the integrity of this material, every accessory's mounting position was specifically adjusted, from the fit of the high-collar area to the detached white outer sleeves, then to the techwear functional waist belt and the tactical pouch on the side. Outfit pairing tests were conducted for a full two rounds in the wardrobe before confirming the proportion relationship between the patent leather material and the white sleeves, ensuring it wouldn't deform due to stretching during movement.

For the pose design, instead of standing straight, I adopted several sets of low center-of-gravity movement postures. One of them is leaning on one hand on the ground while the other leg extends horizontally to a large extent. This actually heavily tests core control; to stabilize this forward-leaning center of gravity, I tried the same set of movements about seven or eight times before finding the most suitable landing spot. There is also a set shot from a high angle looking down, purely showcasing the extension of the back and leg lines, which, paired with the unique grip structure of the patent leather soles, visually extends the character's dynamic trend during action. Another front-facing posture with crossed arms in a standby pose is slightly more restrained, but the upper body lines and the details of the belt can also be displayed more clearly.

The most prominent feature of this set of photos in terms of photography processing is the stripping of background colors. The convention venue itself is filled with complex light arrays and various passersby, so the photographer chose to process the background into close to black-and-white high-contrast grayscale, coupled with the bokeh light spots brought by a large aperture, completely extracting the character subject from the chaotic environment. This post-production idea makes me feel that rather than a simple portrait record, it adds a layer of cinematic feel in a Cyberpunk style. Because at the convention, that busy and lively atmosphere makes it relatively difficult for the character to fully immerse, and this cool-toned desaturated treatment exactly highlights the texture of the bright wig and patent leather costume on the figure, creating a very strong visual contrast.

The last point I want to mention is about expressing the symbolic meaning of \"the moon\". Although located inside the hall of the anime convention without a real moon backdrop, I believe that the emotion of longing for a certain ultimate romance and freedom can be conveyed to the people who see it under this styling. Doing cosplay is not just completing a costume change; more often, it's about wanting to touch the inner spiritual core of the character through this concrete appearance.

Although the whole preparation process was tedious, taking up a lot of time from clothing modification to wig styling, meeting people at the convention who recognized this look and gave feedback made me feel that all these preparations were worth it. The poses and compositions selected for this set of photos exactly condense the various emotions and attempts of that day at the convention. Doing what you love, and being able to perfectly freeze this stylized visual presentation between the intersection of pixels and light and shadow, is actually where the special fun of convention photos lies within Anime-style photography.
