At the venue of Nanning Liangya Spring Festival (Nanning Anime Convention), this König Tactical gear setup finally came together completely. From night vision mounts on the helmet to red training magazines in chest pouches, down to hard protective armor on knees and shins, every piece of Nylon outfit equipment was sourced and assembled by myself. The first feeling putting on this gear was "heavy," but standing on the convention floor surrounded by photography light stands and softboxes, the sense of immersion hit instantly.
This time I specifically picked a black mask paired with a tactical helmet, exposing only two eyes—maintaining the mysterious yet sharp aura of the original work while forming nice shadow layers under indoor lighting. Tactical gloves on my hands felt solid grasping the rifle; although this rifle is a movie prop with no firing functionality, details on rails, sights, and handguards were faithfully recreated, allowing me to naturally strike tactical readiness stances. The single-knee kneeling shot angle was the most exhausting posture of the day—hard kneepads helped, but the floor was harder, and maintaining gun barrel direction coordinated with body center of gravity required several adjustments before catching a satisfying shot.
The standing shots actually clearly show the overall color coordination: black top combined with khaki cargo pants and black tactical boots. The overall tone leans cool, but that touch of red magazine on the chest serves as a great visual highlight. Hard shin guards on the legs were included to enhance military feel; secured with straps, they did chafe my calves a bit walking around the venue, but for the sake of costume texture, this discomfort was totally acceptable.
Many photographers brought professional lighting equipment on site, patiently helping me find angles; even passing fans asked where I purchased these Nylon outfit pieces. This kind of exchange and interaction is the warmest part of convention cosplay. Wearing this gear all day caused a lot of sweat, but whenever someone pointed a camera at you or gave a subtle nod, the focus and confidence brought by the character felt remarkably real. From preparation to final presentation, a lot of thought went into matching details—including waist-mounted quick-draw holsters, camo utility pouches, and tactical side rails on the helmet—striving to stay close to Call of Duty lore.
As for the style slogan "show no mercy," it represents my attitude toward this shoot—no cutting corners, maintaining proper tactical feel and hard-boiled demeanor. Though props are safe non-firing structures, standing poses, kneeling postures, and finger placement on the gun were executed according to real tactical habits, making final photos authentic. Industrial-style overhead lights and floor reflections at the venue unexpectedly added an "underground operation" atmosphere.
Throughout the entire trip to Nanning Anime Convention, the happiest part was bringing this gear offline for more people to see. Whether formal shooting in front of lenses or discussing equipment details with friends post-event, the connection generated through shared passion far exceeds the photos themselves. If there's another chance next time, I might adjust waist-mounted weight distribution to stabilize my center of gravity, making endurance during kneeling poses even stronger.
