At the venue of Nanning's Ryōga Fuyunori, I tried out the look of Komeiji Satori from Touhou Project this time. The short pink hair paired with a matching lace headband, along with that iconic multi-layered ruffled dress—from wearing the wig to organizing the pleats of the skirt hem, every detail was made to be as close to the original setting as possible. The red rope knot decoration at the waist and the golden pendant on the chest were also specially customized accessories; once put on, the entire vibe immediately transformed.
The venue chosen was the studio-style shoot area, where the black background and on-site lighting gave this light pink outfit a richer texture. Sitting on a folding ladder used for photography, we shot some casual perspective frames. This slightly spontaneous pose actually tests one's control over the skirt hem, as the layered fabrics can easily look bulky when sitting down, requiring repeated adjustments to the angles and pleats. There were also quite a few photographers nearby capturing frames from different angles, making the atmosphere incredibly lively. Being able to complete a cosplay shoot in such an environment full of creative passion was an immersive experience.
Honestly, from prop preparation to the finalization of the makeup look, a lot of effort was invested beforehand—especially regarding that large-sized bow and the petticoat structure, which needed to ensure ease of movement while maintaining a puffy silhouette. Under the anime convention lights, the clash of pink and red turned out softer than expected, creating a very comfortable color tone. I hope that through this set of photos, I can convey that seemingly indifferent yet slightly mysterious aura of Komeiji Satori.
