This set of Keqing Convention photos from Day 1 outdoors at Shenzhen AD02 is finally out! Big thanks to photographer @Bacifanggen for capturing so many of my natural moments outdoors this time. Looking at the finished photos, the control over overall light-shadow texture and character state was completely spot-on, making it a very pleasant photo collaboration.

First, let's talk about how the costume felt to wear. This Keqing outfit uses extensive interwoven shades of dark and light purple. The white inner top's neckline and shoulder cuts are very exquisite without looking bulky. Meanwhile, the outer semi-transparent tulle sleeve covers are the soul of the entire ensemble; under outdoor diffused light, the gradient of purple and light lavender-blue presents a light and flowing appearance. The cinched waist design tightens the waistline, which, paired with the metallic star ornament right in the center, flatters the character's body proportions immensely.

For the lower body, I tried a dark Stocking outfit to match the costume itself, featuring a signature golden pattern line along the leg. This detail not only breaks the monotony of solid tights, but also echoes the gold decorative elements on the main costume. Paired with these dark purple thick-heeled pumps featuring gold accents on the toe cap, the look not only stays faithful to the original design, but the stability of the thick heel also made a full day of high-intensity convention walking much easier when navigating outdoors.

Regarding styling, this light purple twin-tail wig has a smooth texture, which, paired with the French bangs in front, flatters face contours nicely. The \"cat ear\" buns on both sides of the top and small white butterfly decorations required hairpins and setting spray to hold for a long time without getting messy, but the soft curve presented before the camera ultimately made the character look even more vivid. Eye makeup used purple-red tones matching the outfit, combined with contact lenses to make the gaze look brighter and softer—expressing the character's confidence while retaining a touch of playfulness.

In this photo set, I personally prefer the shots standing in front of the building's exterior wall, where the glass curtain wall and gray metal pillars behind provided a clean backdrop. Under gray-white natural light, the pure color aesthetic of the outfit was displayed to perfection with zero color distortion. The photographer also guided me to try various angles during the shoot—including interactive shots walking forward with open arms, standing in place slightly lifting the skirt hem, as well as close-ups resting a hand on my head or tilting my head with a smile. These different pose combinations presented the same character's state under various moods.

Although the outdoor shoot environment this time had heavy foot traffic, the photographer avoided cluttered backgrounds wonderfully, keeping the focus squarely on the person and outfit details themselves. I love this clean, clear style of Convention photos, which doesn't rely on overly flashy light effects, but authentically restores the character's original demeanor and the costume's layered texture. As a cosplayer who loves tweaking hair, makeup, and details, getting a work that clearly documents the garment texture and overall look makes me genuinely happy. Meeting everyone at Shenzhen AD02 over the weekend and leaving such a vibrant set of photos outside the venue serves as a perfect record for this convention trip!
