[Keqing cosplay] Genshin Impact: Sweet Pairing Moments with Fischl

Sharing convention photos from Guangzhou Anime convention COC Ranmeng. This time I cosplayed Keqing from Genshin Impact (Keqing cosplay), while my partner cosplayed Fischl (Fischl cosplay).

We prepared extensively for the hair, makeup, and shoot. Keqing's costume has numerous layers and took quite a while to put on. To present the best visual effect for the leg silhouette, I paired it with Black stockings and platform high heels. The wig also took a long time to trim and style, especially shaping the twin-tail curves and positioning the side hair accessories; with a touch of styling gel, the hairstyle held its shape perfectly even after walking around the Anime convention all day.

Upon arriving, we first headed to the glass curtain wall backdrop to take some close, sweet duo photos. We opted for natural poses: peace signs, resting chins on hands, and intimate selfie angles, all aimed at highlighting the close partnership between the two Genshin Impact characters. Staying relaxed in front of the lens and keeping eye contact with my partner was vital, as we joked about getting the gaze just right to stay completely in character.

Later, walking further into the hall, we spotted an exhibition booth featuring a purple-and-black motorcycle. Its purple tones matched Keqing's outfit flawlessly. For solo shots, I tried both crouching and standing angles: crouching worked well to showcase the overall layering and the spread of the skirt hem, while standing was ideal for accentuating leg lines and body proportions. Wearing these shoes, the skirt draped just around the calves, combining with the Black stockings to create an elongated silhouette.

The camera gear and lighting on site were well-suited; despite heavy crowds, the booth had ample lighting, yielding a high rate of great shots. Touring the convention in full gear was physically tiring after an entire day on my feet, but the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Seeing so many beloved characters made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My feet were quite sore by the evening, but this experience offered great takeaways and helped me accumulate valuable composition insights for future shoots.
