This shoot features the Divine Light skin for Jing from Honor of Kings, and a lot of thought went into recreating the details and texture of the entire gear set. The white combat suit paired with extensive golden patterns, along with the shoulder and arm armor highlighted by the lights, gives off a heavy sense of weight. Especially that iconic sun-wheel-like weapon; when held and combined with the camera angles, its rotation brings out a very sharp visual tension. Before the shoot, I specifically studied Jing's skill movements in the game. That rhythm of rapid dashes and slashes also needs to be expressed in static photos through shifts in body weight and the extension of the arms. The wig leans toward a light gold color, matched with the curvature of the headwear to stay as close as possible to the clean and sharp temperament of the original splash art. A wooden picture frame was arranged on set as a border for the foreground and background. Combined with the streaming golden light effects added in post-processing, it gives the entire frame a dynamic sense of breaking through spatial constraints. Although it was a static shoot, I simulated the exact moment of shifting forms through my movements. The angle of my spread fingers and the focus point of my gaze had to remain intensely concentrated to convey Jing's calm yet explosive energy. The styling for this Roleplay look actually demands high physical coordination, especially when lifting a large prop with one hand while maintaining balance, but the final photos turned out to be completely worth it. Every single piece of paneling and the flutter of the sheer drape was a moment caught through repeated adjustments. I hope this sharing allows everyone to see my understanding of this character and experience the different facets of Divine Light under the coordination of light and shadow.
