The Convention photos from this Chengdu World Line Anime Exhibition are finally sorted out, featuring this blue-and-white styling for Identity V Little girl cosplay. To capture this set of night convention shots properly, we deliberately chose a corner outside the exhibition hall, set against a dark night sky and distant city bokeh lights, spreading a white plush rug across the ground to enrich the frame's visual depth.
First, let's talk about the costume details. The overall look features a black-and-white color-blocked design; the upper body consists of a black vest trimmed with white ruffles, with a large, bright lake-blue bow at the collar inlaid with a golden animal bust emblem in the center, and pale blue ribbons cascading beneath. The bottom is a white puffy flared skirt printed with large dark-grey concentric circle motifs, with the skirt flare expanding at an angle perfectly suited for spinning. To create chromatic harmony, I paired it with long bright-blue velvet gloves, visually unifying nicely with the collar's bow.
For the wig, this long silver-white hair required meticulous detangling; the cat ear hair accessories on both sides of the crown and the mini top hat headpiece are focal highlights of the styling. For makeup, bright blue colored contacts were used to complement the overall color palette, accented with rhinestones dotted around the eyes that produced a crystal-clear sparkling shimmer under intense night fill lights. The leg styling featured vertical-striped over-the-knee White stockings paired with a black leather thigh garter ring fastened with metal buckles; small golden bell charms dangled from the garter, chiming with subtle clinking sounds with every step. On my feet were glossy black platform Mary Jane shoes adorned with blue bows on the toes.
Because it was a night shoot, lighting was particularly paramount. A high-powered frontal fill light brought out the costume's rich textures and vibrant colors in full, while side-backlighting cleanly separated the subject from the dark background. During the shoot, I explored several distinct poses: the first with hands on my hips and torso slightly leaning back, primarily intended to highlight the front design of the garment; the one lifting one leg with hands gently clasped together better showcased the skirt's voluminous flare and leg lines; and another throwing a peace sign toward the camera served as a classic interactive convention snapshot.
Walking around the expo in this outfit actually required noticeable stamina—especially wearing platform shoes with a voluminous puffy skirt, demanding constant vigilance in crowds to avoid having my hem stepped on. Fortunately, the atmosphere on site was fantastic, with many photographers and fellow fans being exceedingly warm and accommodating, making the shooting process remarkably smooth. Due to the complex lighting environment, shooting night scenes often required repeatedly tweaking camera settings and postures, so special thanks go to the photographer for their patient direction. This costume not only boasts vivid color contrast, but set against the night illumination, the pairing of blue and white looked exceptionally radiant and translucent. Although the full day at the expo was exhausting, the moment I saw the final photos, everything felt completely worthwhile. I am personally very satisfied with the fidelity of this styling—from the garment tailoring to the accessory details, everything came together wonderfully. I hope to bring everyone even more gorgeous Convention photos at the next convention!
