[Lighter cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Classic Scene Photo Log: Witnessing the Farewell to a Studio Set

This set of Zenless Zone Zero Lighter cosplay photos was captured inside a physical studio set that was about to be dismantled. Hearing the news that the scene was scheduled for demolition in April made me feel genuinely nostalgic. For cosplayers, an authentic gaming physical scene is exceptionally hard to come by; this set masterfully integrated Zenless Zone Zero's distinctive street style with futuristic sci-fi vibes. Knowing it would soon become history, I felt seizing the moment to record this character alongside this Scene reconstruction was deeply meaningful.

Featuring myself in the photos, Lighter's costume was meticulously prepared. The leather jacket was crafted from glossy textured black leather, showcasing a tough biker aesthetic under dialed-in lighting. The golden spikes on the shoulders and yellow-black patchwork motifs are exquisite and highly faithful. Meanwhile, the golden beast-head totem emblem on the chest, along with the nameplate below, did not miss a single detail.

The red scarf is a standout visual element in this ensemble, and I explored distinct moods across three photos: the first shows me leaning quietly against a counter, where that splash of red immediately grabs the eye; in the second photo, I put on sunglasses with reddish-brown gradient lenses, sharpening that cool, piercing demeanor against the fluorescent blue background screen in a striking color collision; the third photo is a dynamic action snapshot with arms slightly curved forward, the brass-colored armor glinting with combat readiness under strong spotlights while the shoulder scarf flows with motion, driving the frame's visual tension to its peak.

Admittedly, wearing this full gear was by no means lightweight—especially with the weighty rigid gauntlets and heavy leather jacket. To ensure fluid and natural actions in the final Cosplay photography, I repeatedly adjusted every stance and gaze. Yet seeing the final results made every effort feel completely worthwhile.

Shooting in a physical set feels entirely different from building a backdrop at home; a great scene breathes soul into the photos, allowing the character's narrative to emanate effortlessly beyond the frame.

I particularly loved the lighting design during this shoot: the warm, soft illumination in the first photo, complemented by exposed brick walls and glowing neon signs, created natural shadow transitions; the cool-toned cyberpunk vibe in the second photo; and the dramatic spotlighting in the third—the photographer dialed in the synergy between lighting and props with remarkable precision. This reflects not only portrait photography prowess, but also a profound grasp of Zenless Zone Zero's artistic direction.

This styling pairing a leather jacket with a red scarf brings street trends and combat intensity into a vibrant collision. Despite the fact that this physical Zenless Zone Zero set is soon to disappear, the immersion and joy it gave me remain permanently preserved in these photos. Passion for a game shouldn't be confined to tapping screens—bringing characters to life in three dimensions through cosplay and answering the character through the lens is a truly cool tribute. Looking back at these photos now, my thoughts still linger in that studio about to be taken down—a truly special memory. Huge thanks to the team who brought this together.
