The core concept behind this photoshoot was to materialize that effortless, candid manga aesthetic found in daily life—bringing an Anime girl persona right into the real world. For wardrobe styling, I picked a classic short-sleeved white button-down blouse with delicate blue embroidery above the left chest pocket, accented by a bright blue ribbon tie at the collar; this timeless pairing effortlessly conjures an authentic school vibe. The lower half paired a pleated plaid skirt woven in crisp blue and white, which held an elegant, fluid drape during candid motion, rounded off with white crew socks and deep brown buckle-strap leather loafers for a clean, refreshing palette. To weave narrative depth into the frames, I brought along a black leather school satchel accented with a plush white bunny charm, along with a slate-grey guitar gig bag. These storytelling props not only prevented empty compositions but also fleshed out the character's backstory—evoking an everyday, slightly whimsical schoolgirl deeply in love with music.
Overcast skies blessed the shoot day, and that soft, diffused ambient light is uniquely suited for Japanese style photography. It preserved genuine skin texture without casting the harsh, unflattering shadows typical of direct sunlight. We chose an outdoor pedestrian footbridge and staircase zone for our setting. In choreographing movements, my goal was to radiate an unforced, energetic aura.
