This shoot finally brought Remielle's skin fully to life. Landing right in time for the Zenless Zone Zero 2nd Anniversary and Creator Incentive Program, it was the perfect chance to celebrate my love for this design. Prepping the costume took immense effort, particularly the colossal black wings—they carried serious weight and demanded constant balance control. Styling the pink wig and fitting the elf ears was time-intensive; the wig required multiple rounds of trimming to achieve distinct layering at the ends. The outfit leans gothic and dark, accented with a silver star ornament at the collar. Under the strobes, the leather skirt and sleeve textures looked remarkable, while lace-trimmed Stockings and strappy heels elongated leg proportions.
We staged the shoot on a city rooftop with a brilliant skyline Night view, creating a sharp contrast between blazing skyscrapers and the dark gothic aesthetic. The photographer utilized cool-toned fill lights to make the silver metallic accents gleam. The wings posed the biggest hurdle: their heft required realignment with every stance change, especially the extended single-leg posture in photo four, which required flexibility, wing balance, and subtle leverage against the safety railing. In expressions, I aimed for detached coolness laced with subtle playfulness. In post-production, we preserved collar stars and skirt trims while grading with a desaturated blue-gray chill to make the pink hair pop as the focal anchor. The sleek texture of the Stockings and tailored leather complemented each other flawlessly in this smooth, deeply satisfying cosplay session.
